• Military- Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard

Why should we honor veterans?

• Many veterans have given up time with their families to help keep us safe and give us our freedom.

• Many veterans have fought.

• Many veterans have died.

Honoring Veterans

• We honor veterans on two days

• Memorial Day-a day we remember those who have died serving our country. May 26th

• Veteran’s Day-a day we honor and thank those who served in the military.
