Living up to our company motto “Everything from one source”, for this project we designed, manufactured and installed the entire facade and were responsible for the studio fit-out. The highly sustainable overall design achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating and was UK Sustainability Project of the Year 2010.

The production of innovative biopharmaceuticals takes place under clean room conditions. As a fit-out specialist for clean rooms, Lindner installed walkable ceilings systems, glass partitions, lock systems in the production rooms and implemented numerous fire protection equipment and individually tailored solutions such as rappelling devices for tank cleaning.

In the first construction phase, we created a “city within a city” in the Residential Park Sofia with 127 buildings and 350 dwellings. The family-friendly atmosphere with integrated office and shop spaces and the proximity to nature, amount to a total concept with the highest quality of life.

Refurbishment of the two 57-storey office towers was performed following an integrated Green Building Management scheme in accordance with the requirements of the LEED and DGNB certification. The project achieved the highest rating in both assessments with “Platinum” and “Gold”.

The giant canopy is based in the centre of the ELBEPARK at a length of 54 metres, and a width of 12 metres. Delivery and installation of the three-dimensional elliptical plasterboard canopy were carried out within a very short construction period, and without interrupting operations.

The extravagant shape of the building was made possible through a special sub-structure with aqua panel exterior walls. The dimensions of the greenbox – length 24 metres, width 20 metres, height 5.60 metres – have until now been rather exceptional for German studios. Besides the enormous size, a particular challenge was to ensure that the entire surface was absolutely homogeneous and crack-free – no corners, no edges, no expansion joints.
