This slide show will show you some photos from our trip. Hope you like them!

This is the house at El Porton Verde, aka “la finca”

It is still a work-in-progress.

For this trip, we got to see our new roof and gutters.

…a real goo d time was had by all

We had fun with family, relaxed in the hammock, and saw some new volcanoes

Sunrise view from la finca

We have some different types of animals than you might have at home...

But they are loved just the same.

View of the house from one end of the finca

It takes a few minutes to walk from one end of the finca to the other.

But there are some nice paths to get you around.

And we have some bananas in case you get hungry along the way

From the far end of the farm there is a view north towards Lake Managua

The far end also has its own access road.

From the house you are at eye-level with the birds and the trees

From the house again, looking south towards the other end of the farm.

This is our ride.

We took a couple of fun little trips within Nicaragua.

Of course some surfing was involved

I can go right too.

We did other things, like lay around this little pool.

Located at this new little hotel at one of our favorite beaches.

There is a good wave right out in front.

We also took an overnight trip to Chinandega, a region in northwest Nicaragua.

It was really hot on the road to Chinandega.

But we got to the water finally.

And found a nice hotel.

Overlooking a wild surf spot called Boom.

I found a beach that was more my speed.

We had a nice dinner out to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary.

Then we went back to El Porton Verde to cool down.
