Volume and CapacityLachlan had to count how many soup ladles it would
take to fill a frypan. He used counters to help him count. Lachlan was also
learning what ‘full’ is.
Shelby, Lachlan and John were learning full, half full and empty.
• Some students had to make the exact measurement given.
They had to choose which container would be best suited to the measurement required.
We were learning how to read the different scales on the containers.
Comparing how the same volume can look more or less in different
containers.
Adding two different volume amounts to find the total volume.
