PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
I had the opportunity to visit four different quilt
guilds in the past month: North Wind Quilters
Guild, Fairfield; Petaluma Quilt Guild, Petaluma;
Moonlight Quilters of Sonoma County, Santa
Rosa; and Flying Needles Quilt Guild, Woodland.
The feeling is the same in every one of these
places. They all have a love for quilting and the
desire to share what they do and know. The
meetings were comfortable and familiar. I sincerely
hope that everyone who visits or participates in our
guild is given the same warm welcome that I
experienced on my visits. They were also very
generous when buying tickets for our opportunity
quilt. Marla Vaughn 990-3115
V-President: The Program for May will feature a
trunk show, that is a collaboration of two long-time
quilters in our guild. Terry Catt will lead off with a
selection of her projects from over the years,
followed by Claudia Goebl (featured quilter at our
next quilt show). Claudia will be sharing with us
some of her earlier works, and just enough variety,
to whet our appetites for the quilt show. I am sure
this will be great fun for all of us. See you then.
