Voluntary Sector and CCG Liaison

Purpose

• To build the relationship with the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)

• To raise the profile of the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) with the new commissioners

• To identify opportunities for partnership work• To support the VCS to engage in initiatives

Objectives

• to support the engagement between the VCS and the CCG

• to develop initiatives that are relevant to CCG priorities

• to support relevant VCS organisations to deliver the identified initiatives.

• to raise the role and importance of the VCS in the delivery of Primary Care and wider health services, in Derby and the surrounding areas

Why do this?
