• I like our region because the air is clear here• There‘s less smog and no big agglomeration• The countryside in the Vysočina Region is

beautiful with preserved nature – it‘s great for walks

• There‘re a lot of sights• One of my favourite is the castle of

Lipnice• There is a stunning view on the

surrounding villages and even on Žďárské vrchy and Železné hory

• Near the town of Lipnice nad Sázavou there is National Monument of eavesdropping (secret litnening) - three reliefs carved into the rock

• Bretschneider's Ear, Mouth of Truth and Golden Eyes

• In the Vysočina Region there lies the township of Havlíčkova Borová

• It is the birthplace of poet and journalist Karel Havlíček Borovský

• He is one of my favourite poets and I am glad that he was born near my home and that he knew the neighboorhoud

• It‘s possible to visit his birthplace where there is exposition about his life and career

• Nové Město na Moravě is interesting for sport fans like me

• There was held the 46th Biathlon World Championships

• In Nové Město na Moravě there is also held World Cup in cross-country skiing
