STUDENT REINFORCEMENT SYSTEMW. C. Williams Elementary School Reinforcement System…All faculty and staff receive a sheet of 18 tickets every morning. They

issue these tickets throughout the day to students who are demonstrating positive behavior. Each week, the students “cash in” their tickets for SMART CASH. (10 tickets = 1 SMART BUCK). At the end of each month, the students visit the Wildcat Store to shop and spend their SMART CASH. Students are required to keep their tickets and SMART CASH throughout the month, which also promotes and reinforces responsibility.

Our parents have been extremely supportive of our PBIS system at W. C. Williams. By attending parent conferences, parent meetings, volunteering in classrooms and the Wildcat Store, and meeting with our principal, they earn SMART CASH for their children. Parent involvement is a critical part of student success. We encourage our parents to visit our school and play a part in their children’s education.

TEACHER REINFORCEMENT SYSTEM

W. C. Williams Elementary School Teacher Reinforcement System…

Teachers are rewarded tickets from our principal, Mrs. Brown and our Director of Federal Programs, Dr. Lorita Harris, for modeling positive behavior or by classroom observations of students demonstrating positive behavior. These tickets are placed in a monthly drawing for prizes and supplies. The tickets can also be used to purchase items in the Wildcat Store from the teacher’s table.
