Warwick Sport is a joint venture between the Students’ Union and the University which offers anunparalleled variety of sporting opportunities and caters for all abilities. In addition to our 73 SportsClubs which offer a range of competitive, development and beginner’s opportunities, our E&YIntra-Mural Leagues and fitness classes provide a number of recreational alternatives if you wouldprefer to represent your hall, department or society, or would just like to play with friends.

The high-quality services and facilities associated with Warwick Sport will not only allow you to become faster, fitter, stronger and healthier, but every Wednesday night the University unites to celebrate and commiserate the week’s fixtures and competitions at the SU night POP!

Sports Officer - Natasha Cabral a.k.a. Bam After an incredible summer of Olympic and Paralympic action in London, sport is undoubtedly at the forefront of everyone’s minds and we are very excited about the prospect of inspiring more students to participate in sport and - in the wise words of Adidas - “Take the Stage”.

Having played sport at University since my Freshers week, it has been a huge chapter of my last three years. I have predominately been involved with the Hockey Club - I’ve represented the 1st XI forthree years, coached their beginners squad and was elected their Social Secretary and Club Secretary. In addition, I was the Sports Liaison for One World Week - the world’s largest student-run international event, participated in the Lacrosse and Floorball summer leagues and I am a Right To PlayAmbassador.

As your Sports Officer, I am responsible for increasing participation in sport, supporting the Sports Clubs and ensuring there is a relationship between the students, Warwick Sport and the Students’Union. I also take the lead role in organising the big sporting events of the year, including Varsity andthe Sports Ball.
