Ways to Use a First Aid Kit

1. Bleeding: Gloves, Pads, and Scissors,

peroxide, ointment and gauzebandages.

Always put gloves on. Find the wound

that is bleeding and cut through materiel

with scissors if needed. Apply pressure

to wound to help with the bleeding then

clean the wound with peroxide then

apply ointment and gauze bandage.

2. Minor Burns: You will need disposable

gloves, sterile gauze tape, gauze

bandage, and peroxide and burn

ointment. Place your gloves on, clean

with the peroxide and gauze pads. After

cleaning the burn place the ointment on

the wound and cover with the gauze

bandage, put the tape on to keep it in

place.

3. Insect Bites: You will need your

gloves, alcohol wipes and

hydrocortisone cream. Place gloves

on; clean the bite with alcohol wipes,

place hydrocortisone cream on the

wound and cover the wound with

bandage.
