ELA- this week in Grammar we are reviewing and practicing using irregular plural nouns. Irregular plural nouns are nouns that do not follow the rules of adding an s or es to the word, but the plural form of the word changes. Examples are:
Science - we are moving into our unit on magnets. Students should be able to tell that magnets attract and repel and describe what this means. (Attract- they pull towards each other/Repel- they push away from each other)
Social Studies - We are continuing our unit on cultures and traditions. Students should be able to identify and name the 5 regions of the US. We will be learning about the characteristics and natural features found in each region.
