BudgetPro v4 Basics

CFC BudgetPro v4 is:

•An Excel-based budgeting tool for distribution co-ops

with a file size of approximately 32 megabytes

•A series of 37 worksheets, contained in six functional groups

•A documented budget model using integrated spreadsheets

•A tool that provides the end result of the four preferred budgeting statements

BudgetPro v4 Basics

CFC BudgetPro v4 is not:

•Designed for activity-based budgeting

•Designed to be used simultaneously on a system’s

network by multiple users

BudgetPro v4 Basics – Advantages

• Offers menu-driven “Home” worksheet

• Produces appropriate documentation of

budget items

• Allows preparation of “what if” analysis

• Contains the necessary linkage between

spreadsheets

• Utilizes cooperative account numbers

• User can input either detailed budget information or simply utilize summary information

• 2003 – If you don’t get a dialog box in the middle of your screen when you open the spreadsheet, then

chances are, macros are disabled.

• To enable macros:

– Click on: “Tools – Macro – Security – Medium”(will need to close and re-open spreadsheet).

When the dialog box displays, click Okay to enable

macros.
