A WIX Portfolio

Let’s Create a Portfolio!

As a requirement for this course you will create an online portfolio of your photography

work.

Follow the Instructions

on the Following Slides

to Assist You with Your

Portfolio Set Up

Click Here

...to go to the WIX site!

Click on the Sign In button to create an account.

Click on the Sign Up link.

Use an email that you can check to verify your account and create a password.

Choose Photography!

Choose this one...it will be easier!

Type or select Portfolio.

When you are done click NEXT.

Click Skip

Type your name here...you can just use your first name.

Click Skip

Make sure everything looks okay and then click next.

Click the Start button.

Choose your design style and then click Continue.

Wait until you see the Continue button and then click Continue.

Click the arrow button to continue.

Go through these sections to customize the look of your website.

Click Add Section

Add a Bio Page

Drag Bio page to main website.

Scroll to the bio page and click on the Edit button.

Title the page Artist Statement

Write artist statement in the description section. Follow guidelines on class website.

Scroll to home page and click the edit button.

Change the title to your name.

Make the subtitle Photography Portfolio

Add your images to the portfolio section.

Click here when finished.

Create your domain name and add it to the portfolio website google doc.

Click Publish & Continue

You are Finished!

Double check that Ms. Bruns can see your website!
