Ron Howard

In 1982, Ron teamed up with Brian Grazer to direct and produce Night

Shift.

Two years later in 1984 the two teamed together

again for Splash.

The film established Howard as a director

and he went on to

do 1985’s

Academy Award

Winning, Cocoon.

Ron and Roger Corman cofounded Imagine Films Entertainment in

1986

The company has been the powerhouse behind hits including…

Willow (1988) and Parenthood (1989)

Backdraft (1991) Apollo 13 (1995)

Ransom (1996)

In 1998 Ron expanded his company’s efforts to

television production’s with the drama, Felicity.

The Da Vinci Code (2006) which grossed

more than $750 million worldwide and

was nominated for a Golden Globe.

In 2008 Ron received an Oscar Nod for Best Director for Frost/Nixon.
