Step 1 – Assign a number to your letter grade

Step 2 – Add up the “Grade Points”
Step 3 – Divide “Total Grade Points” by the number of classes you have taken.
Your GPA is the number you get after your divide “Grade Points” by the number of classes you
have taken.

The student transcript reports both the weighted and unweighted cumulative grade point average. Class rank is based on the weighted cumulative grade point average. The total number of grade points earned in all courses taken is divided by the number of credits attempted.
