The Official WCCCC Newsletter
Welcome News by Macie Schubert
Today, and every day, we thank you for your membership. We love seeing you at ribbon cuttings and big events, and right now while those activities can't happen, please have confidence that our West Chambers County Chamber team is here for you in all seasons of business. We know this pandemic has impacted you in major ways and we are here to help.
I’m sure you have noticed the tremendous amount of communication that we have sent to help you navigate through these unchartered waters. Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve conducted surveys and sent those results to the Texas Association of Business in order to be a voice for our local businesses. We have sent letters to our elected officials urging them to make the very best decisions for our members and community. We have created a “COVID-19 Resources” tab on our website, enabling you to find the latest information and assistance available for small businesses and organizations, including information on the CARES Act Loans. We hosted our very first Virtual Business Mixer, offering relevant business tips, as well as updates from the City of Mont Belvieu and Chambers County. And lastly, we have worked hard to make sure when our community considers food or shopping options, they consider West Chambers County Chamber members FIRST!
I would like to recognize all of our incredible local “essential” employees. Our first responders, medical professionals, grocery store employees, restaurants and others who are unable to stay home. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed and we are forever grateful for the sacrifices you make to keep us all safe and well.
Again, the WCCCC is here for you, like never before. We cannot wait to get back to business and see you all again soon. Thank you for your commitment to this community. We are stronger together.
Stay Safe,
