JAPAN’S CLIMATE IS COMPARED TO THE EAST OF NORTH AMERICA COAST. JAPAN HAS 4 SEASONS: SUMMER WINTER SPRING AND AUTUMN. IN WINTER IT SNOWS AND IN SUMMER IT IS HOT.

• Since Japan is made up of islands, fish is a major part of the Japanese diet.• Sushi is dried fish that’s boiled, cut up & then eaten. • There are all kinds of sushi.
Thin sheets are used to make rolled sushi. One type is rolled up sushi.
• Everybody in Japan eats sushi.

• The traditional clothing of Japan are the Kimonos. • They are made of silk and come in many different
colors. They are worn by men and women. • Today, kimonos are worn on special occasions.
