Welcome to McCrady Training Center What to Expect Internet/Computers

Transportation to McCrady Training Center (MTC) • ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 1500 SATURDAY!• Transportation provided from NMPS.• Sailors traveling individually are responsible for

transportation from the airport to BLDG 3931.• The address for MTC is 5395 Leesburg Road,

Eastover, SC 29044.

Transportation on McCrady Training Center (MTC) • Personnel walk from Dining Facility (DFAC), located

near berthing.• A bus is made available for PX runs to Fort Jackson

(TUE/WED) and on the Sunday of arrival.

Berthing • Billeting will be arranged by Navy LNO.• Personnel will stay in open bay barracks.

BRING: towels, shower shoes and a lock foryour locker.

Food • Messing is provided by the DFAC• DFAC Hours:

• Breakfast: 0700-0800• Lunch: 1200-1300• Dinner: 1800-1900

• Camp McCrady Shoppette is available forindividual amenities Wed-Sun, 1100-1900

Post Office • Do not begin to “mail things” to yourself; the area

Post Office has limited space and can only retainmail on hand for a brief time before they have to“return to sender.” The mailing address is locatedback of this pamphlet.

During the 3-week period, Individual Augmentee Sailors will receive training on Weapons, Convoy Ops, Counter IED, Communications, and Counter Insurgency Training.

• Come prepared to depart Ft. Jackson for overseasmovement!

• Bring a 90 day supply all prescription medicationswith you and have refills for them, if needed.

• Bring an updated eyeglass prescription andyour most recent set of glasses with you.

• Bring a set of civilian clothes.• Authorized military gear and equipment will

be issued. Do not buy extra equipment youmay not need or may not be authorized touse or wear.

• You may bring laptops, MP3 players and otherelectronics of this nature at your own risk.These items ARE NOT allowed on ranges orduring any training evolutions. Camerasare allowed, but use is HIGHLY RESTRICTED.

• MAINTAIN Operational Security!! RememberOPSEC when communicating with friends/family.

• Internet capable computers are availablefor personnel use in the Computer Lab locatedin BLDG 3931; they ARE NOT NMCI.

• Free Wi-Fi is available in barracks and theUSO Day Room.

• ENSURE your ID card is CAC activated (yourpin) and your PKI Certificates are updated.It will affect BOL, NPC, and many officialwebsites you may need to access.

• Ensure you have and remember your MyPaypin number!

ECRC training sites are hosted by the US Army.

United States Navy personnel are subject to the specific rules and guidance set in place at U. S. Army installations and standard Navy rules and regulations.

Sexual harassment, sexual assault, and related misconduct will not be tolerated.

1. Fraternization. Any relationship betweenU.S. Army personnel and students notrequired by the training mission isprohibited.

2. Civilian Clothing. Prohibited while studentis in training unless on authorized liberty,

special pass, or required by official duty.3. POVs. Prohibited unless prior

authorization is received.
