yes or no

When do we use these questions?

• These questions are used to gather information

• Example: What is your name?• This question is asked at the beginning of a

conversation when you are meeting someone new.

• The speaker get their information by asking WH questions.

• SO how do you know what WH question to use?

• You answer these questions using the same verb!

• Examples:• Where do you live?

• I live in Carlstadt, NJ.

• What is today’s date?• Today’s date is November 9th, 2011.

• How do you feel?• I feel great, thanks!
