I Was Driving Down the Road…

Tailgaters are Focused on Their Goal

• The tailgater has brain wiring of the pleasure he or she experienced in the past.

• That brain wiring reinforces focus on causing that feeling to recur.

Tailgaters have a Strong Intention to Make the Other Driver Move

• This is not a hope or wish that the person in front will move.

• It is a mental image that is so strong that the driver in front can actually feel it.

• The ability to intend an outcome creates a greater likelihood of success.

Tailgaters are Persistent

• The neural network that creates the focus and intention of creating success is a ‘belief’.

• When you believe in something —persistence becomes pleasurable.

• Persistence in the presence of a belief in success becomes a ‘winning mental strategy’.

What If We Could Do That in our Businesses?

• Focus on experiencing success. • Intend that everyone we

encounter will experience success as a result of interacting with us

• Persist despite apparent obstacles and disappointments.
