What are landforms?

• Landforms are the natural shapes or features of the Earth’s surface

• There are many different types of landforms found on the earth.

Tectonic plates

• Parts of the Earth’s crust slowly moved and pushed together the forces wrinkled the land making mountains, valleys, and other landforms

GlacierA glaciers are

huge sheets of ice, that move slowly carving and scraping soil and rocks, changing the Earth’s surface

Erosion

Erosion is the wearing away over time by wind, water, or ice
