What is Prata Journey? Prata Journey is a prata demonstration and hands-on workshop started by Kampong Group Pte Ltd as part of our efforts to engage the community in loving the food we eat beyond taste, but to understand how our food comes about and the pains that go into making it.

Prata Journey is an interactive, hands-on, insightful and fun-filled hands-on experience into the art and science of Prata making.

When done with family members, friends, and colleagues and even among total strangers, serves as an excellent bonding and team building activity.

There are no onlookers at Prata Journey. As we focus on team bonding, everyone participates. We make no exception on this point.

Payment Terms

Booking & Cancellation FeesBooking deposit of 30% of the estimated charges is required to confirm the booking. Order confirmation must be signed and returned to us.

No of pax must be confirmed 2 days before the Journey. Invoicing will be based on this confirmed number or the actual attendance, whichever is higher.

Change of Journey date is possible if notice is given more than 2 weeks before the Journey.

No refund of the booking deposit will be made if notice period is less than 2 weeks. If for any reason, no booking fee was paid, cancellation charge of 30% applies.

When can I do PJ?Prata Journeys are usually conducted:(a) Mondays to Fridays (b) Morning slots:-

1) from 9.00 a.m. -Kampong Café @ BM2) from 11:00 a.m. in Big Street

(c) Afternoon slots:-from 3.30 p.m. – both locations

Surcharge for Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays – S$200

– as long as the slot is not taken up

Pairing PJ with a Meal - BMOur Halal certified kitchen in Kampong Café @ BM offers delicious authentic Malay, Indian and Chinese local favourites – like Nasi Briyani, Lontong, Chinese Zichar and of course our crispy yet fluffy Roti Prata.
