WHEN THE ZOO CLOSES

When the zoo closes and the people head for home...

The animals pretend it’s night time and head to their cages alone.

But everyone thinks its time for bed...

But the animals get up and play instead!

When the zoo closes, the bears pretend that they’re sleeping

But really they’re up and about, jumping and leaping

When the Zoo closes, the tigers are snoring...

But really they’re up and doing artistic drawings!

When the zoo closes, the penguins are yawning.......

But really they’re up and practising performing!

When the zoo closes the monkeys are getting ready for bed.....

But really they’re up and standing on their heads!

When the zoo closes, the meerkats are snuggling.......

But really they’re up and doing circus tricks, juggling!

When the zoo closes, the keepers head for home.

The giraffes stretch their necks to check they’re alone.........

And when it’s all safe and everything’s clear........

They all come out for the party of the year!
