Sleeping Quarters

Bring the following:

•Pillow

•Sheets and blanket or sleeping bag

Everyone needs to bring a bag lunch for the first day. All other meals will be provided.

Think about reusable or recyclable containers instead of things with wrappers that must be thrown away. Our Website has an activity that will help you.

Can you pack a Trash-Free lunch?

A few important questions:

When are we going?

What do I bring?

How do I pack?

What do I do with my things when I arrive at school?

Can I bring my medicine?

Do I need to bring any money?

Are there things I can’t bring to Camp Schmidt?

Are there things that I can’t bring to Camp Schmidt?Yes! Do not bring any electronic devices.

Activity One: Dropping in on Deer

Students will conduct a deer survey by sampling in a field and the forest. By doing this students will find the total deer population at Camp Schmidt.

Students are taught to us a compass then traverse a course through Camp Schmidt property.

Students find the age and height of trees.

Team Buildingas an Evening Activity

Team Building will challenge students to work together to problem solve.

Challenge yourself to traverse the cat walk, cross the tire swing and fly down the zip line.

**We only stock Adult sizes Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, and XX-Large. ****Tee Shirts are $10.** 

Please Note- Children’s sizes are NOT available!Please bring money in an envelope marked with student’s and teacher’s name and size requested

or teachers may choose to collect the money back at school prior to the trip.

Reminders

• Bring Bedding• Appropriate Clothing

– NO Shorts– Winter or rain gear depending on

forecast– Nothing that can’t become DIRTY

• Bag Lunch for first meal after arrival at Camp Schmidt

• Leave electronics at home• Throw away cameras are acceptable
