• Does the views of the opposite sex effect ones decision

• Would females tend to buy a certain dress more, if they are informed that guys prefer it better?

Tentative hypothesis

• YES THEY WILL!

• Many girls will tend to pick a certain dress out of the 5 dresses given, if they are informed that, males prefer the certain dress.

Procedure1

• -Put 5 dresses on a board and ask 25 girls (5 girls each from age 14 to 18) to put a sticker on which dress they would buy.

• (14 year old: yellow 15year old:red 16year old:blue 17 year old: black 18year old: green)(This is to make it easier to analyze data)

• Make a same board with the same 5 dresses, BUT this time below the dresses, show the percentage of how many guys prefer the certain dress. Than, repeat the same procedure in part1

• In both groups, there was an increase of choice of dress#5.

Analysis

• Females are influenced by the views of males, and are willing to change their decisions based on what males would think of them.

Flaws

• Girls may have truly thought that the certain dress was more attractive

• Not taken seriously(conversation among friends while decision)

• Minor miscommunication with group members
