PAVILION
WHAT’S ON WINTER / SPRING 2013
WHITBY
BOX OFFICE 01947 604855www.whitbypavilion.co.uk
Welcome - we’re delighted to bring you news of our 2013 programme. SIV recently started operating the Whitby Pavilion and we are thrilled to be beside the seaside! We aim to continually enhance the programme and experience at the Pavilion and welcome feedback and suggestions from our customers – please feel free to contact me on the email address below.
Winter/Spring highlights include the Hull Truck Theatre’s presentation of Jane Eyre and the Northern Ballet’s Ugly Duckling: A Ballet For Children plus comedy from on-trend Chris Ramsey (very funny guy from BBC2’s Hebburn!).
Also look out for a variety of music shows to entertain along with our cinema showings. We have a host of productions by the various local theatre companies in Whitby. It’s been great meeting them all – they have such a passion and commitment to performing.
We look forward to seeing you and hope to see continued support for Whitby Pavilion.

MIKE HARDINGME, A GUITAR AND SOME MORE DAFT STUFF
Described by Billy Connolly as “the funniest man in England” and widely acknowledged as “the grandfather of alternative comedy”.
And now, after 15 years concentrating on writing and broadcasting, fell-walking and fly fishing, Mike Harding is back on the road. With a guitar and a back catalogue of more than forty years of material to draw on, you’re invited to join Mike for an evening of daft stories, silly songs and the odd comic monologue.
REFORM THEATRE PRESENT
ME & ME DADIn a word, Dave Lees’ dad Pete is terrible. Good at Subbuteo; hopeless with spaghetti. So when Jean, Dave’s mum, dies, Dave does the decent thing – he puts his failing acting career on hold and moves back home to teach his dad how to cook.
Fighting memories (and occasionally each other) and risking the sanity of relatives and neighbours, the pair set to the task with gusto. Can their relationship survive? Or is this is one kitchen nightmare even Gordon Ramsay couldn’t fix?
