In the year 2008, after lot’s of dreams. Ideas and thoughts we established in varanasi

india the Wichi art school.The school is for children from needy families, who can’t provide any educational settings for their children.

Wichi was established by Ravi Tripathi,

a Tabla player from Varanasi-India

Who wanted to give those children knowledge in all areas of life, with emphasis on the arts.

To give them the opportunity for a better future.School is a non-profit institution, is held by private donations.

We invite you to join usfor a Day in the school...

Every morning we walkHappily to school,

Wait patiently until everyone arrives ...

At school we are taught to maintain cleanliness and hygiene,And the teachers helping those who need,

even a doctor comes to visit us once every two weeks to check that everything is fine with us

Every mornings opens with a prayer

We worked really hard…

And now we are going to eat breakfast!

We eat in Wichi 3 meals a day, that are made specially for us!

Now it’s about 9:00 and we should start learning ...

We study the basic subjects (math, English, science, Hindi)in two groups.

The Big one’s

And the small one’s

Between classes we do not forget to enjoy and play!

At noon we eat a hot and filling meal

And then we find the time to study our music and arts lessons

Dancing lessons

Beside this,We also learnPainting and singing lessonsBut you didn’t came on right day…

We also have many social activities:

Parties and holidays with our parents

As we learn,Wichi had thought of our parents too.

And they organized a literacy classesprofessional sewing course for our parents.

That’s it ...

That’s how looks a day in our school.
