Wildlife Management and Fish and Game WardenBy: Steven Ulman

Wildlife Management In this career you will be managing and

conserving wildlife areas. Also managing zoological facilites for commercial, recreational, and ecological purposes.

Fish and Game Warden Being a Fish and Game warden you

must patrol an assigned area to prevent fish and wildlife violations and to stop people from poaching animals.

Education

Game Warden An associate

degree in criminal justice and a bachelors degree in fisheries and wildlife management is needed.

Wildlife Management

A bachelor degree in fisheries and wildlife management is needed.

Earnings

Game wardens at an entry level position earn about 52,000$ a year.

Fish and Wildlife Managers make anywhere from 50,000 to 100,000 $ a year.

Lake Superior State University

This would be the best school for both of these choices. A bachelor in fisheries and wildlife management is offered here and so is anything with criminal justice. Whatever level I wanted to go on this would be the best one for me.

A bachelor in Fisheries and wildlife management here is roughly 7,920$ per semester.

Differences Both of these careers are very similar.

The only thing different about these two is that to be a game warden, more schooling is needed. Each of them need A degree in science but a Game warden needs a degree in criminal justice also.

Overall I think the best career for me would be a fish and game warden. This would work the best for me because I would get to be independant and outdoors all day.
