These instructions explain how to connect a Mac OS X computer to the “eduroam” wireless network. If do not have a computer running Mac OS X or you wish to use an alternative wireless network, you should select the appropriate instructions, not these.

1. In the toolbar click on the icon and choose the option Open Network Preferences.

2.New window will open, Network, click on the button

3.Choose the tab. Then choose User for the Domain setting . Write your username in the User Name field, your password in the Password field and the name of the network (Eduroam) in the Wireless Network field. For the Authentication tick TTLS and click on the button to continue.

4.In the TTLS Inner Authentication field choose the authentication PAP, in the Outer Identity field. Continue by clicking the button.

Write eduroam in the Network Name field and choose WPA2 Enterprise (or WPA Enterprise) in the Security field. Enter your username username@campus.ul.pt in the User Name field and your password in the Password field. In the 802.1X field, choose WPA: eduroam. Tick Remember this network and continue by clicking the button

Now you’re connected, and you can browse and access the E-Learning and the Library @ the Faculty
