“Make no mistake – this isa game changing moment forcreditworthy buyers whohave been understandablyfrustrated for years about notowning a home of their own.Anyone who doesn’t have
much equity in their currenthome but needs to take theirnext step on the housingladder also stands to benefit.”
Barratt Manchester saysthat the 95% mortgagesrepresent one more reasonwhy newly built homes are abetter deal than their second-hand counterparts. Barratt isthe only leadinghousebuilder whichguarantees all the internalfixtures and fittings in a newhome for a full five years – inother words, the first 1,824days of occupancy.
Jason added: “Now that wehave 95% mortgages, I expectlots of local people who havebeen thinking about asecond-hand home will lookat what new home buildershave to offer.”
