TRANSCRIPT

A2 Media Presentation Pitch

WITCH IS IT?

THE POSTER

We decided to go with this picture for our poster as we feel like it has a ghostly edge to it because of the outline of the shadowy leg.We decided to go with a

dark, low-key lighting in our poster to gives it an ominous atmosphere. We decided not to show the

figure running thought the halls as it will give it a mysterious edge leaving the audience interested to know who it is.

We chose the font and style of the title because we were searching for different types of font online and came up with a few. We thought this was the best suited for it as it is an intimidating font.

• Hayleigh Gavin as Regina Phallange• George Malkinson as Derek Johnson the Witch• Kamara Smith as the cameraman• Refectory People

THE CAST

• Begins in intimidating woods• People are ominously disappearing from crowds at once• Disappearing silhouettes • The compelling witch bottle• Regina Phallange seen cautious in the woods• Technology malfunctions• Hauntings

TEASER IDEAS

We want to distribute it worldwide, and globally. At the same time. We will be funded by Warner Bros and Sony Entertainment Europe. Who will them make a 25% profit each from t. We aim to reach 3 million it profit from the cinemas and physical copies on DVD and Blu-ray.

THE VISION

TARGET AUDIENCE

We looked at the target audience ratings for some of the films that influenced us for our trailer and then decided it would be best if we did an age range of around 15-24 and for both male and female.

MARKETING INFLUENCES

The film is heavily inspired by earlier horror films and psychological thrillers, with the poster paying homage to The Exorcist and MAMA. Also inspired by the witch in the woods of Reigate.

• We will start filming at the start of October and will be allocated around 3 hours to film our trailers. We will then spend 2 weeks putting together and perfecting our final piece.

• For our film we wont need many props, we will need outfits relevant to the trailer. We will also need a ‘witch bottle’.

• We will be using software like IMovie, Garage Band and a couple more software.

INFORMATION

• Frightening imagery and a teen cast• Regina Phallange• Unconventional plot
