WMEA All-State 2022 Voice Audition Materials

12. These materials must be used to be considered for the WMEAW9-e are pleased to introduce our

2022 audition materials for grades

All-State Symphonic and Treble Choirs.

Track four is a NEW song replacing America. See separate pages.

Track five part singing features a NEW arrangement of Chorale 55. This must be recorded live, direct to Opus. Download the appropriate mp3 recordings from our website for summer practice purposes

Track six is a four measure sight-singing exercise. The sight-singing exercise will be revealed at the time of application/audition upload. The student’s performance of the sight-singing exercise will be recorded live on the website at that time. There will be a 45 second review time of the example prior to the recorded performance of the exercise. Track six must also be recorded live on the website.

Track 5 Part Sing: You will hear the starting pitches for the chorale rolled from the bottom up and then the starting pitch for the part you will sing played again. A click track will begin counting in the tempo for the Chorale. The website will begin recording and you will sing your audition voice part. Sing your part on "doo". You will hear the other parts sung while recording. At the end of the chorale the website will stop recording and automatically submit it as part of your audition.
