Woman’s rights

All around the world,

In thousands of countries, cities, towns, villages, nations, societies, and unions,

There is a problem

So what is the problem?

The problem is…

Lack of woman’s rights

Girls everywhere are being mistreated,

Taken advantage of,

And are being denied something that they want more than anything….

An EDUCATION!

Woman and girls are not allowed to;

Vote or run for Congress Choose whom they want to marry Own their own land Be protected by laws Or Go to school Show their face or hair out in public

In some countries,

The problem is not as bad, But still; The problem remains the same

It’s unfair and unjust

Woman should have rights because…

They long for an education, and if they get one they can;

Help their town/city or village Which helps their community Which helps their country Which helps their Union Which helps our World

We call this….

THE GIRL EFFECT

And we CAN help!

How?

We can…

Send books, pencil, and other school supplies to the girls around the world

send teachers who are willing to help our cause so that everyone can have an education.

Ask big companies like Stop & Shop or BJ’s to start a thing where when you buy participating items, your receipt will have a code on it, and if you code is a winner, then a woman or girl without rights will get a prize too.

Join the Girl Effect on Facebook or Twitter, because every time we like their page, they donate to girls in need

Raise money and ask people who are interested in the cause to build new schools that are open to everyone, including girls and women

Spread the news, so that everyone will know what is going on and how wrong it is

Protest here in America, and in other countries too
