Women Referees

There are only two women referees in Men’s American Professional Sports. Michaela Tabb, referee of Pool and Violet Palmer, NBA Referee.

Women Coaches

There’s 1 woman coaching in D-League. There are no women that coach in the NBA but there are men that coach in the WNBA. Nancy Lieberman, only women coach in D-League.

Women Players

There are many women sports, leagues, and teams. However there’s only 1 woman in men’s professional and that’s in Minor League Baseball. Eri Yoshida, a woman that plays in Minor League.

Women Sports Attendance

Attendance numbers for Women’s sports are severely lower than Men’s sports. The highest average attendance in the NBA is 21,791, the Chicago Bulls, and for the WNBA is 11,338, the Washington Mystics.

Women Have Skills

• Women can do as much on the basketball court as men.

What you can do

Teach women at a young age that they are just as capable as men to play sports. Sports are meant for everyone and they should be coed.
