“The memories and experiences felt at this site still echo in clarity and power today. I will never forget the site and sounds of the plaza. Splashing the water with my brother around Koenig’s “Sphere.” The cathedral heights of the marble lobby. Riding up the field of escalators in the underground mall. And the office my dad used to work on the thirteenth and fourteenth floor of the north tower. Like the wind blowing from the top of the observatory and the city below, remembering these visions and feelings is what I aimed to capture in the fol-lowing photographs taken over the years as the site started to open up again and heal what had been an open wound in the city skyline.

To see peace, light, tranquility and a rebirth to Lower Manhattan’s life and energy, this place is my childhood and my inspiration for art & architecture. My second home.”
