Uniform
Please ensure that all children are in full school uniform in September. Coats should be dark and plain. Shoes must be black.
Please do not buy expensive trainers with logos. They are not appropriate for school. The school will be buying black shoes in a range of sizes, which children will have to change into, if their shoes are not appropriate. Thank you for your support!
EE Challenge Day
A Day in Politics at Wormholt Park
The children were challenged to set up their very own political parties from scratch, devising manifestos, generating campaign ma-terials and ultimately presenting at hustings before a final ballot! It was clear from the onset that all teams were full of ambition when they tackled some of the big problems in our society, especially in the education sector, healthcare and environmental issues. The students’ sound knowledge of the British political system was impressive as they were able to share the goings on inside the Houses of Parliament.

PGL Trip
A group of Y6 children had a wonderful time at PGL in Torquay!
The staff of Wormholt Park would like to thank our wonderful parents for all the support they have given the school over the year.
We look forward to seeing you all again in September!
Year 6
Goodbye to all our wonderful Y6 children. You have all been amazing and have now completed your journey at Wormholt. We all wish you lots of luck for the future!
School Meals
Please remember to inform the School Office of any changes to your child’s meal pattern prior to the change, or on the first day of that change.
You will also need to fill in a ‘change of lunch’ form. They are available in the school office.
Please visit the ‘Parents’ section of the school website to find out how to pay for school dinners online.
Sports Days
Mr Hoskins organised two brilliant Sports Days. KS1 and the Early Years went to Wormholt Park and Key Stage 2 went to the Linford Christie Stadium. What a lot of talented athletes we have!
We were also very proud of how well the children behaved and how they had such good team spirits!
ATTENDANCE
The class with the best attendance for the whole year is Harare with 97.35%
PUNCTUALITY
The class with the best punctuality for the whole year is Lima with only 1.57%
Well done to all these classes.
Whole School Picnic
The whole school community had a wonderful time at the picnic in the park. Everyone shared food, chatted and played games. It was so lovely to see so many parents and carers!
Computer Sessions for Parents
Do you need help filling in an online council form like a school application, a benefits claim or even applying for an online course? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then we are here to help. Sirje will be holding parent only sessions in our new Adult Learning Room, every 2nd Wednesday from 1.30-2.45pm. If you are interested in attending one of these sessions, please pop into the office to speak to Sirje. All you need is your own email address with password.
Sainsburys Vouchers
Thank you to everyone who brought in Sainsbury’s Vouchers. We collected 8298 altogether, which enabled us to buy over £200 worth of PE equipment for the children!
We would like to welcome two new teachers, who will be joining us in September; Sam Moles, who will be our KS1 Lead and teaching La Paz
class and Stuart Muldrew, who will be teaching Toronto class.
