How to edit your new map content with Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 on Windows

Step 1
• Download the product using the link in your ecommerce email from ShareIt
• Unzip the contents to your PC• Open the main map PowerPoint file e.g.:
• We’re going to use the World maps for the rest of this guide and the same steps apply for other editions

Step 2
• Copy the map to your presentation to use your design theme:– Select the desired slide in normal view or sorter view– Hit Ctrl-C– Switch to your target presentation– Place the cursor after the slide where you want to insert the map– Hit Ctrl-V– The map is copied to your
presentation using yourdesign style

Step 3
• Enable the PowerPoint Selection Pane:– From the ribbon:
Home / Editing / Select / Selection Pane
• Click to contract groups of objects• Click to expand groups of objects• Use Ctrl+Click to select multiple objects• Click to show/hide groups or objects*
*If you cannot see these icons, drag the left edge of the Selection Pane to expand the pane width5 of 9

Step 4
• To edit a country (or state/region):– Select the desired country (or state/region) on the slide– Click the Format tab in the ribbon– Apply outlines, fills and effects as required

Step 5
• The PowerPoint animation engine is used to create the default interactivity and you may change this as required
• To edit interactivity:– Open the interactive slide(s) for your product– Click the Animation tab in PowerPoint– Edit/delete/add to the animations according to your needs
