Task one:

Imagine you have collected tea from the tea plantation. Ask your grown up for a small cup of tea (this can be regular, herbal, even herbs in water if you have no tea!)

Smell the tea, consider the colour and what it reminds you of. Is it sweet? Strong? Musky? Inviting? Steamy?

What effect might the tea have? Energise you? Calm you?

Create an advertisement for your tea using descriptive sentences.

Use these sentence starters to help you describe the smell:An aroma of…A hint of…..An echo of…..A scent of….A bouquet of…An abundance of….A plethora of….A burst of….

Why have I highlighted ‘a’ and ‘an’ in different colours?

The rule for using a/an is that ‘an’ is used before a word that starts with a vowel
