The Story of Dragon Boat Festival

In ancient China, Qu-Yuan was a great person with respectable personality.

Unfortunately, his country was perished. He decided to die for his motherland and then jumped into Miluo River.

In order to save Qu-Yuan’s life, the countrymen driven dragon boats to search his body.

They feed rice dumplings to fishes. Tried to make them full and won’t eat Qu-Yuan’s remains.

Peoples’ Actions

Although their efforts were all in vain finally. The acts were kept for thousands of years.

And the day of Qu-Yuan’s death became the Dragon Boat Festival to commemorate this great man.
