various primary schools in the borough. The pupils enjoyed

a variety of lessons and activities shown in this newsletter.

Atomic Touch is a brand new hybrid game that mixes

elements of Touch, Netball, Basketball and Rugby together

resulting in an exciting, high-speed, multi-directional game,

that can be played both indoors and outside.

P.S.E.

It was fantastic to meet so many Year 6 pupils during the PSE

Taster Day. Pupils were given the opportunity to explore what it

means to make a good first impression, to share their

experiences of working with others from other schools and out-

side of their usual peer group and to interview another student.

There was much laughter, lots of energy and enthusiasm and

even a little bit of Strictly Come Dancing.

PSE is a subject where students have the opportunity to

explore new ideas and to be pushed out of their comfort

zone, often through drama games and the occasional

silly song.

It is also a place where young people are encouraged to take

risks, disagree respectfully with others and see the world in

new ways. We hope that the taster session was a fun and

interactive introduction to PSE at Bryntirion.
