HISTORY OF ZORLU ENERGY WIND POWER PROJECT

2007

• First Wind Mast of 85 m height in Pakistan

• Approvals from Authorities and arrangements for Phase I (6 MW) and Phase II (43.5 MW)

2008 • Construction works starts (Phase I – 6 MW) 5 Vensys 1.2 MW

2009

• Despite the economical crisis, Zorlu Energy completed Phase-I with %100 Equity.

• 6 MW Phase I starts to generate electricity.

2010 • New financing opportunities are arisen.

2011

• Vestas V90 1.8 MW for Phase II and the total capacity increased to 56.4 MW. All approval are renewed. Financial arrangements are done.

2012

• Energy Purchase Agreement and Implementation Agreement signed with Goverrnment of Pakistan. EPC and O&M agreements are signed. The construction is started. Financial Close is done.

2013 • 25th July 2013, COD Achieved (3 months before Required COD)
