Program Outcomes (POs)
1. Pharmacy Knowledge: Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and
basic knowledge associated with the profession of pharmacy, including biomedical
sciences; pharmaceutical sciences; behavioural, social, and administrative pharmacy
sciences; and manufacturing practices.
2. Planning Abilities: Demonstrate effective planning abilities including time
management, resource management, delegation skills and organizational skills.
Develop and implement plans and organize work to meet deadlines.
3. Problem analysis: Utilize the principles of scientific enquiry, thinking analytically,
clearly and critically, while solving problems and making decisions during daily
practice. Find, analyze, evaluate and apply information systematically and shall
make defensible decisions.
4. Modern tool usage: Learn, select, and apply appropriate methods and procedures,
resources, and modern pharmacy-related computing tools with an understanding of
the limitations.
5. Leadership skills: Understand and consider the human reaction to change,
motivation issues, leadership and team-building when planning changes required
for fulfilment of practice, professional and societal responsibilities. Assume
participatory roles as responsible citizens or leadership roles when appropriate to
facilitate improvement in health and well- being.
6. Professional Identity: Understand, analyze and communicate the value of their
professional roles in society (e.g. health care professionals, promoters of health,
educators, managers, employers, employees).
7. Pharmaceutical Ethics: Honour personal values and apply ethical principles in
professional and social contexts. Demonstrate behaviour that recognizes cultural
and personal variability in values, communication and lifestyles. Use ethical
frameworks; apply ethical principles while making decisions and take responsibility
for the outcomes associated with the decisions.
8. Communication: Communicate effectively with the pharmacy community and
with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports,
make effective presentations and documentation, and give and receive clear
instructions.
9. The Pharmacist and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual
knowledge to assess societal, health, safety and legal issues and the consequent
responsibilities relevant to the professional pharmacy practice.
10. Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional

Amale Kishor Suresh qualified GPAT Examination 2016-17. Principal Dr. M. J. Chavan

College Activities (Workshop, Conference, Seminar)
Work shop
Amrutvahini College of Pharmacy, Sangamner successfully organized one day district level
workshop on GPAT Examination for Pharmacy Students on 23rd
January 2017. The workshop
was sponsored by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. For the workshop experts from the
field of Pharmaceutical education were invited. The lecture session was started by Prof.
Rajendra Bhadane (Acting Principal, Divine College of Pharmacy, Satana) the topic he
discussed was “Ways after B. Pharm.” He has also focused on importance of higher education
and role of GPAT exam in achieving the same. He has also given the students some tips to
solve online GPAT, NIPER etc test. Dr. Anwar Shaikh (Professor, Allana College of
Pharmacy, Pune) the topic for his lecture was “Synthetic Chemistry and Stereo Chemistry”.
National Conference
A two days National Conference sponsored by Savitribai Phule Pune University was held on
10th
and 11th
February 2017 on topic “Opportunities and challenges in development of herbal
formulation”. Dr. Pravin Wakte , Mr. Rahul Phate, Ms. Aboli Girme, Dr. S.D.Pawar, Dr. S.B
Kasture, Mr. Satish Khaserao, Dr. Ashok Nighute had shared their valuable knowledge on this
occasion.

Workshop on Interview Techniques and Corporate culture
On 1st march 2017 a one day work shop was organized by College for students to learn the
skills of interview. Devdatta C. Gokhale, GATI, Jalgaon had excellently narrated the interview
techniques to the students.
Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan
The Amrutvahini Sheti and Shikshan Vikas Sanstha’s Amrutvahini College of Pharmacy,
sangamner had organized Personality development Program 2016-17 under the Student’s
Welfare Department of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The lectures of experts were
arranged for the “Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan” on 8th
march 2017. Adv. Anjali Devchakke , Ms.
Smita Gune, and Mrs. Rachana Malpani were the experts from their field and they had shared
their valuable experiences with girls student.

Women Personality Development Program
The Amrutvahini Sheti and Shikshan Vikas Sanstha’s Amrutvahini College of Pharmacy,
sangamner had organized Personality development Program on 9th
march 2017 under the
Student’s Welfare Department of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The lectures of
experts were arranged for the personality development and empowerment of girl students.
During the lectures the experts had interaction with the students. Dr. Mrs. Shital Junghare has
shared valuable words on Ayurveda, Panchakarma and Advocate Mrs. Ranjana Gawande has
shared about the Law for Women.
Blood Donation Programme
On the occasion of birthday celebration of Trustee of Amrutvahini Sheti & Shikshan Vikas
Sansath’s, Dr. Sudhir Tambe., MLC, Graduate Constituency, Nashik, Government of
Maharashtra College has organized blood donation camp 18th
January 2017. Students had
enthusiastically participated in the blood donation camp. Total 52 students had participated
among them 45 boys and 07 girls had donated blood. Blood was collected by Arpan Blood
bank.

Graduation Ceremony
Amrutvahini Sheti and Shikshan Vikas Sanstha celebrated its Graduation day in its engineering
campus. The celebrations started with the academic procession in which the dignitaries namely,
Dr. K. P. Vishwanatha Vice-Chancellor of Mahtma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth , Director of
Sanstha Sau. Sharayutai Deshmukh, trustees of sanstha Shri. R. B. Sonawane, Chief executive
Shri. A. B. Shinde and Manager Shri.V. B. Dhumal, and the Principal of Engineering and
Pharmacy College were us hered to the venue of the function. The dignitaries adorned the dais.
The CEO Shri. A. B. Shinde, declared the graduation day open and in his presidential address
he congratulated the graduates.

Cultural Activity
Every year all the institutes under the umbrella of Amrutvahini Sheti & Shikshan Vikas
Sanstha's, participates in Grand cultural festival- Medha. For overall development of the
students, the array of cultural activities was conducted in the campus of sanstha and on Medha
ground. All round development of students is our ultimate goal and we encourage every student
to open up and show her latent talent in various competitions and thereby help and nurture
them in their overall development. Our Students performed exceptionally well in the extra co-
curricular activities and so this unraveled the hidden talents in the students. Every day there
was a theme observed and there were various competitions conducted. The program was
started with inauguration function in presence of Hon. Balasaheb Thorat (Ex. Minister for
Revenue and Khar Land Development Government of Maharashtra, President AVS & SVS),
Hon. Dr. Sudhirji Tambe (Trustee, AVS & SVS) & event coordinator Mr. G. B. Kale. The
students of AVCOP were guided by Mr. V. S. More cultural coordinator of Amrutvahini
College of Pharmacy, Sangamner.

Sports Event 2k17
Annual Sports event was organized from from 22nd
Feb 2017 to 28th
Feb 2017 for Academic
year 2016-17. The inauguration ceremony of the events was held in the presence of Principal
Dr. M. J. Chavan and Sports In charge Mr. M. V. Mahale. Various sports events such as
cricket, volley ball, table tennis, chess, carom, badminton, was carried out in presence of Sports
secretary, Sports In charge, and other event coordinators.

NSS ACTIVITY
Swacha Bharat Abhiyan
NSS students has actively participated in Swacha Bharat Abhiyan from 1st November to 15
th
November 2016. Total 50 students had participated in this campaign out of which 30 girls and
20 boys were involved.
NSS Campaign
NSS camp was arranged at Palaskhede, Tal. Sangamner, Dist. Ahmednagar. From 16th
Jan.
2017 to 22nd
Jan. 2017 (07 days). In this seven days different activities like Blood group,
Hemoglobin, Health checkup camp for School Students & Villagers School Palaskhede
Shramdan , Health checkup camp for School Students & Villagers Dental Check Up Camp
were carried out.
