Welcome at Dutch PassionThanks to our customers satisfaction with our products, Dutch Passion now

has a leading position in Europe in the Cannabis Seed Trade. We supply our

seeds to over 2000 Head- and Growshops in Europe. The basis of our suc-

cess is the genetic control we have over our strains and the constant influx

of new genetics that we obtain worldwide. Upgrading our seed stock is our

constant concern. Except for the genetics of our Cannabis Seed varieties, we

specially care for: ripeness, size and germinationrate (95%) of our seeds.

Cannabis seed CollectionOur Seed Collection consists of 41 feminized varieties. Fourteen of these

varieties we offer also as regular varieties. We sell our seeds in envelopes of

3, 5, 7 and 10 seeds. Our 6 different “Colour Mixes” however, we sell in

packages of 6 seeds: 3 varieties, 2 seeds per variety. Apart from our Colour

Mixes we still sell several other Special Seed Varieties. In this catalogue you

will find several innovative “Special Seed Collections” (see content page 2).

Our different 6 Colour Mixes we have mentioned just before. Furthermore

our “AutoFem” Seed Collection is an innovation that tends to have the same

revolutionary impact on the market as our world famous Feminized Seed

Collection did. We also offer “High Altitude” varieties helping customers

up in the mountains to grow first quality Cannabis. In development is our

“Medical Collection”, Ortega Indica being the first variety, it’s effects heavily

resambling tranquilizer/ sleeping pil effectiveness.

Quality Control After harvest the mature cannabis seeds are processed with a windmachine

to remove foliage. Next the seeds pass over a series of different sized sieves

where they are separated as to their size. We select only uniform viable high

quality seeds. Only the two middle fractions of a variety are used for our

sales stock. Once selected we put the seeds in a humidity closet for 1-2 days.

3 metres tall, 5th week in bloom.

Page 5: Amsterdam Maastricht

This step ensures the internal moisture content of each seed is a constant

30%. Now we store them at 6 degrees Celsius and they will remain viable

for 5 to 6 years. For long term storage we seal our seeds in plastic coated

aluminium bags to ensure the humidity stays constant. We take a sample of

each seed batch produced and preform a germination test. All seeds we offer

must germinate 95% or we will not sell them.

AttentionDutch Passion advises all potential customers to check their national laws

before placing an order. Dutch Passion does not want to induce anyone to

act in conflict with their national law. We are sorry that we cannot complete

orders to the USA.

PackagingWe sell our seeds in bags in which the seeds are not visible. Although we

are aware of this disadvantage, we have chosen for these bags for two

reasons:

1. These bags are made for seed purposes only. The bags contain a special

foil that allows the seeds to preserve their germination ability over a long

period of time.

2. The bags are professionally sealed, so you can always be sure that the

bags contain genuine “Dutch Passion” seeds.

grow-InfoWe offer you outdoor, greenhouse and indoor Cannabis Seed varieties.

Best is to start “outdoor” varieties in the beginning of April, the first weeks

under a piece of glass or in a greenhouse. The yield per female plant lies

between 100 and 400 grams for the different strains. Most of the plants

have yields in between. Yields are especially dependent on sowing time,

nutrition and sunlight. Harvest times in this catalog are given for the Dutch

climate and latitude. All “indoor” and “outdoor” varieties can be grown

outdoors on more Southern latitudes. For this reason the harvesttime under

natural light is given also for all the “indoor” varieties. Greenhouse varieties

and Indoor varieties can be grown outdoors in Central and Southern Europe

with very good results. On more Northern latitudes (Scandinavia) only the

outdoor varieties that are harvested early can be grown outdoors.

All indoor varieties do well in greenhouses at Southern and more Northern

latitudes. Only in some variety descriptions this is mentioned, because in

these cases the variety does extremely well in a greenhouse. Darkening sys-

tems can be used to speed up the lifecycle in more Northern Climates.

Most “outdoor” varieties cannot be grown indoors, unless mentioned in

this catalogue.

Yields and quality of plants grown under artificial lights are mostly depend-

ing on:

a) the seed variety, b) wether the plants are grown from seeds or clones,

c) after how many days of growing the plants are put into flowering and

d) the optimalisation of the climatical conditions of the grow-room.

Apart from “true breeding” varieties, our seed collection consists of differ-

ent F-1 hybrids. Crossing two “true breeding” strains (hybridizing) give F-1

hybrids, that posses the so called “Hybrid Vigor”. This means that the F-1

generation is a lot more potent than both parents seperately. F-1 genera-

tions also consist out of uniform plants.

tHC PercentagesFor most varieties THC percentages are given. This as a quality control on

our seeds. The THC% is a measure for the strenght of the “high”. For any

strong “high” the THC% will range from 5 to 15 % and higher. This does

not mean that the variety with the highest THC% will be the best variety.

Apart from THC, taste, aroma and THC familiar substances (precursors) are

of importance. Much is depending on personal taste.

germinationTo get the best seed germination results, we advise you to germinate the

seeds according to our standard procedure, with which we obtain germina-

tion rates of ± 95 % for all varieties:

- use a grow room with a stable temperature of 20 degrees Celsius.

- use soil with a pH-value of ± 6.5

- use cocos with a pH-value of ± 6.0

- use rock wool with a pH-value of ± 5.8

- the soil should not be too dry or too wet.

- sow the seeds in a container about 5 mm deep.

- after sowing press the earth lightly, this stimulates evenly sprouting.

- spray the soil lightly with water.

- cover the container with thin transparent plastic foil, to achieve an opti-

mal greenhouse effect.

- after 1 to 10 days the seeds will have sprouted. Now remove the plastic foil.

- sprinkle the soil regularly with water, wait till the upper layer has dried

out and sprinkle again with water.

- after 1 - 2 weeks the seedlings will be strong enough to put them in a

larger container.

We do not take responsibility for seed germination. We do seed germina-

tion tests every 3 months to keep our seed stock in optimum condition. All

seeds from our collection are grown organically.

Info “Feminized seeds”Feminized seeds have several advantages above Regular seeds:

1. Almost all offspring are females. You can use this tremendous advantage

under artificial lights, in a greenhouse and outdoors.

2. Feminized varieties are more uniform (homogenous) than “regular” seeds.

3. The quality (taste, flavour and potency) of marihuana produced by feminized

seed plants is better than marihuana produced by regular seed plants (see #2

above). The quality of marihuana produced by feminized seed plants is also

better than the quality of marihuana produced by clones. Clones are mature

plants and exhibit dwarf growth. Older plants, like people, are more suscep-

tible to diseases. Young seed-grown plants are strong vibrant and resistant to

pests and diseases. This lack of strong growth also effects the overall quality

(THC %, flavour and taste) of the clone. Young seed-grown plants reach the

full genetic potential and the smoke is stronger and more flavourful.

Info “Autofem seeds”Cannabis Indica and Cannabis Sativa respond to changes in the day/night

light cycle. According to the hours of daily light, an Indica or Sativa variety

will start to bloom. Auto-flowering varieties in Cannabis however do not

respond to the day/night light cycle. Autoflowering varieties start blooming

only in response to age, this property is exclusive to Cannabis Ruderalis.

Dutch Passion has worked with Ruderalis varieties extracted from the

Northern latitudes in Russia (Ural/Udmurtia) and Canada. Ruderalis varieties

contain no THC, in order to make them psycho active they must be hybrid-

ized with Sativa’s or Indica’s that contain THC. Dutch Passion has focused

on “early maturing autoflowering varieties” because of their remarkably

short lifecycle. These early maturing autoflowering varieties are only offered

in their feminized (AutoFem) form. Pioneering breeding work has made

these varieties extremely potent yet they can be grown from seed to bud in

just 8-10 weeks indoors or outdoors. This is yet another remarkable break-

through in cannabis technology from Dutch Passion, the master breeders

who were the first to bring you feminized seeds. Dutch Passions first two

AutoFem varieties were introduced in 2009 and have been in huge demand

ever since. To meet this increased demand, four more autofem varieties

were introduced in 2010. Growers are becoming more and more attracted

to the benefits of AutoFem seeds. The success of AutoFem seeds reflects the

advantages of growing AutoFem varieties over non-automatic varieties for

7

Page 8: Amsterdam Maastricht

AutoMazar®8

Page 9: Amsterdam Maastricht

some growers in both indoor and outdoor gardens. Until recently, Ruderalis

has not been bred commercially as it has no psycho-active properties. Dutch

Passion has now successfully pioneered the hybridization of Ruderalis varie-

ties with some of our prize strains to create a new family of highly potent

cannabis plants. Because of the short lifecycle of approximately 2.5 months

and their short shape, AutoFem varieties are perfect to grow almost any-

where. These are truly cosmopolitan cannabis plants, unlike anything you

have seen before, and they make it possible to grow cannabis indoors or

outdoors in almost any conditions or climate. Outdoors they are easy to

grow in containers as well in soil. Containers can be put on terraces and

small areas like windowsills and balconies. In Mediterranean climates up

to three harvests a year are possible. Even in the extreme north with short

summers all AutoFem strains can be grown once a year. In the past it has

been a challenge to grow quality pot in very short summers, often it was

impossible. Thanks to the unique automatic flowering of Dutch Passion

hybridized Ruderalis, excellent pot can now be grown anywhere. This is a

breakthrough that could be just as important as our feminized seed technol-

ogy was, these varieties are already becoming best sellers. The best indoor

grow results with AutoFem seeds can be achieved with a cycle of 20 hours

light/4 hours darkness.

We do not accept product liability on account of the living nature

of the product.

Passion #1® (outdoor/greenhouse)Passion #1 is one of the best green outdoor varieties available and has

been ever since the 1970’s when it first appeared as a legendary Californian

Indica. Yields can range from 250 grams for typical 2.5 m tall plants to as

much as 750g from large plants that can reach staggering proportions (up to

3.5m) when started early in optimum conditions. Passion#1 grows long and

compact buds that are heavy with resin, this is a variety developed only for

outdoor/greenhouse and is famously easy to grow. Initially, the smoke is soft

with a fresh citrus aroma, then Passion #1 hits you fast with a strong exhila-

rating ‘up’ high. Smoke a little more and you will notice a strong, heavy and

pleasurable stone. We have measured Passion #1 with THC levels approach-

ing 20%, this is a variety you will want to grow again and again...

Hollands Hope® (outdoor/greenhouse)Hollands Hope is a potent outdoor Indica, fully acclimatised to the Dutch

climate and grown outdoors since the 1980’s. It is a tough and reliable

strain with good mold resistance and is ready for harvest around end

September or early October after 8 weeks of flowering. Plants are 1-2m tall

with buds growing to 50cm and can yield from 100g to 1000g dependent

on growing conditions. Over-feeding Hollands Hope can encourage exces-

sive leaf growth and reduce bud production. Hollands Hope is a reliable

outdoor favourite with a heavy sit-down indica stone that is popular with

recreational and medical users. The smoke is quite sweet and the excellent

quality stone lasts a good couple of hours. This variety comes recommended

by a generation of outdoor growers.

Purple #1® (outdoor/greenhouse)Purple#1 is the world famous original purple strain from the 1980’s and has

been treasured for it’s uniquely beautiful colourings and great high. Our

original Purple#1 plant is a 50/50 sativa/indica mix. The indica comes from

a special purple Afghani which was carefully crossed to create a strong out-

door plant that is fully adapted to the Dutch climate. Yields are a reasonable

250-350 grams per plant. Purple #1 is typically 1.5m-2.5m tall, it is for out-

doors/greenhouse only and finishes early. The fan leaves are often sativa-like

in appearance and show amazing purple colours. Purple#1 gives a sticky,

purple-streaked ganja that has a superb fast-hitting high. It is more of an

‘up’ high than a heavy stone with a somewhat rough, yet subtle, aroma. A

great choice for those seeking a fast-finishing tough outdoor variety that

combines uniquely beautiful purple buds with a fresh and potent high.

11

Page 12: Amsterdam Maastricht

Frisian Dew® (outdoor/greenhouse)Frisian Dew is the most beautiful outdoor variety we have ever encountered.

It is a cross between Super Skunk female x Purple Star male that took three

years of selection from clones. We produced many Skunk/Purple hybrids in

the past 20 years, but we have never seen anything as good as this hybrid.

Light purple colour (50% Indica, 50% Sativa) – very high yielder, very good

stem to leave ratio (only little leaves). Not susceptible to mold. Absolute

premium quality outdoor strain. A must for the outdoor grower, especially

in the Northern Climates. Soft aroma and taste, above medium high. Very

commercial. Frisian Dew: 1st prize Outdoor, High Life Holland 2008.

shaman® (outdoor/greenhouse)A proven variety dating back to the 1980’s, Shaman is a reliable, robust and

highly potent F1 hybrid of an exceptional male Purple#1 and a top female

Skunk. Bred for the outdoor/greenhouse grower, Shaman is resistant to spi-

dermites as well as mould and bud rot. Shaman is a distinctive, elegant plant

growing with clear Sativa characteristics such as long intermodal distance

between the large buds. Around half the plants turn a beautiful shade of

purple during flowering which is complete by the end of September or early

October outdoors. In a greenhouse, flowering takes 7-8 weeks. Shaman

shows great hybrid vigour and delivers a smooth, woody sweet purple

smoke that is a sensual high-quality sativa ‘up’ high. Shaman is the perfect

choice for the outdoor/greenhouse grower looking for robust, quality genet-

ics that have stood the test of time and will deliver bumper harvests.

twilight® (outdoor/greenhouse)Twilight is a proven outdoor strain, 100% Indica with heavy yields, buds

that can be 50cm long and absolutely beautiful purple colourations. She is

often sown after 15th May and harvested at the end of September/1st week

October. The plants grow to 1-1.5m and have good yields of a strong, uplift-

ing and skunky ganja with an earthy taste and strong, sour Afghani flavour.

Twilight is a reliable outdoor 100% Indica strain which has been popular

for many years with medical and recreational growers. A good yielder with

a true Indica body stone and a smooth high. Many of the repeat-growers of

Twilight are medical users who say that this is particularly effective for arthri-

tis or chronic pain. Recreational users of Twilight only recommend smoking

this in the evening; otherwise it will wipe out the whole day!

High Altitude seed Collection

Most cultivated varieties developed by seed companies are selected at and

used at low altitudes. Low altitude varieties do not respond well at higher

altitudes. We looked at all the offerings by other seed companies and could

not find good high-altitude strains. To fill the demand for alpine strains DP

developed two “High Altitude” strains: Pamir Gold® and SnowBud®. These

two strains are adapted to the higher altitudes of the Alpes, Pyrenees, Sierra

Nevada, Kaukasus and other mountainous regions in the world.

14

Page 15: Amsterdam Maastricht

snowBud® (outdoor/greenhouse) SnowBud is our second “High Altitude” variety. SnowBud is a hybrid of

Afghani and South African genetics. As with Pamir Gold the selection work is

done in the Swiss Alpes. SnowBud (60% Sativa, 40% Indica) has a spicy (cin-

namon), skunky smell and taste, smokes very smooth and has a medium “up

high”. Healthy plants may reach 1.8 till 2.2 meters outdoors. Mold and mildew

resistant. Yield: above average. Does also well indoors. The name SnowBud

refers to the huge amount of white pistils in the female flowers (buds).

Flowering period : 7/8 weeks

Harvest “outdoor” : 2nd week of Oct.

Order no’s : 4632 / 4652 / 4602 (Feminized)

Pamir gold® (outdoor/greenhouse)Pamir Gold originated in the western Himalayas of Tadzjikistan. The plant

was adapted to the high altitudes of the Swiss Alpes during several years of

selective breeding. Once selected seeds were reproduced in the Netherlands.

Pamir Gold is a mostly Indica variety (60%,40%) having a sweet earthy taste

with a breath of lemon and pear. Healthy plants are 1.5 to 1.8 meters in

height outdoors. Mold and mildew resistant. Yield: above average. Does

also well indoors. Subtile stoned/high.

think Different (Indoor/outdoor/greenhouse)Sometimes a seed supplier needs to ‘think different’ to stand out from the

crowd. Dutch Passion did just that with the introduction of feminised seed

technology in the 90’s and we have done it again with the creation of this

very special AutoFem strain. The target here was to create a high yielding

autoflowering strain with superior potency levels that would challenge the

very best traditional varieties. We used a Dutch Passion genebank strain

called AK420 to start the process, this is a heavy yielding AK47 hybrid with

extreme potency levels. AK420 was systematically crossed with a carefully

chosen Ruderalis. The aim was to surpass the high standards set by the

2011 AutoFem bestseller AutoMazar. Think Different’ is a heavy yielding

AutoFem strain, it gives strong homogenous plants typically 1-1.5m tall that

can occasionally yield 250-300g per plant under optimum conditions. Think

Different is roughly 60% Sativa, 20% Indica and 20% Ruderalis. Indoor

production levels of upto 500g/m² have been seen by Dutch commercial

growers. Seed to harvest is just 9 weeks and with THC levels measured at

18% this is a heavy-hitting easy-to-grow strain that serious growers like you

are simply not allowed to miss!

AutoMazar® (Indoor/outdoor/greenhouse)AutoMazar is a remarkably heavy-yielding autoflowering hybrid between our

legendary Mazar and a Ruderalis/Indica. Mazar is a triple prize winner, a best sell-

er praised for its potency, high yields and soft taste. AutoMazar produces sticky,

generously proportioned buds and grows to a height of 70 to 80 cm. AutoMazar

is a typical Indica, a strong-growing dense plant with big leaves and yields of 50

to 125 grams per plant. Best result so far is a plant that produced 205 grams

outdoor in Southern Europe. It is a robust strain that is easy to grow and guar-

antees a heavy early summer harvest of superior quality when grown outdoors.

The stable genetics ensure that AutoMazar is resistant to pests and diseases. The

flavor and aroma of this resinous variety are that of an original earthy Indica. The

intense “body-high” is very pleasant. AutoMazar is a must for all Indica lovers,

not at least for it’s tremendous yield. Highly recommended.

AutoBlueberry® (Indoor/outdoor/greenhouse)To create an automatic Blueberry we used Ruderalis genetics and backcrossed

with Blueberry for 4 generations at which point 100% of the offspring flowered

automatically 25 days after the seeds germinated. Then we created some ‘female’

pollen to self-seed the 4th generation offspring. The result is AutoBlueberry, an

F5 hybrid and typical Blueberry phenotype which carries many of the distinctive

Blueberry characteristics. Most AutoBlueberry plants display the famous Blueberry

light blue/purple colourations as well as the deliciously sweet and fruity Blueberry

taste. The stone is of respectable quality and strength. Growing AutoBlueberry is

a great alternative to growing from clones, the growth cycle is just 10 weeks from

seed to harvest. AutoBlueberry doesn’t grow tall, allowing it to hide easily from the

eye of the unwelcome visitor. Mediterranean climates will allow two or three crops

per year and at northern latitudes AutoBlueberry is a reliable and attractive alterna-

tive for an early summer harvest.

17

Page 18: Amsterdam Maastricht

taiga® (Indoor/outdoor/greenhouse)Taiga is a hybrid between an auto-flowering Ruderalis/Indica and Power

Plant, one of our best-selling strains noted for potency and good yields. From

our celebrated Power Plant gene pool we selected an extremely early flow-

ering female to produce the female pollen. The pollen was used to fertilize

the female Ruderalis/Indica to create Taiga. Taiga grows with large compact

buds, the smell and taste reminds you of the potent Power Plant heritage.

Taiga is a very good yielder for such a small plant, growing well under a wide

range of growing and fertilization conditions. This is a very forgiving strain

that will please growers of all abilities. Containers of just 1.5 to 2 liters are

sufficient to guarantee a good harvest of potent pot. Taiga loves a place in

the sun, which she needs for a quality yield. Taiga has a short lifecycle, from

seed to bud in just 8 to 10 weeks. Height of plants: typically 50-60 cm.

tundra® (Indoor/outdoor/greenhouse)Tundra is a hybrid between an autoflowering Ruderalis/Indica and our out-

door champion Passion #1. We chose Passion #1 for its outstanding “out-

door” qualities. It is a healthy, pest-resistant, strong and early flowering strain

with a soft smoke and superb taste of spicy lemon and grapefruit. Tundra

grows into small bushy plants that consistently produce a good quality pot

with a medium ‘up’ high. Tundra can be sown at any time from early spring

to the beginning of August and be ready for harvest from early summer to

mid autumn. Under artificial light, twenty hours of light for 8-10 weeks will

assure a good harvest of high quality weed. Height of plants: 35 to 80 cm.

18

snowstorm #2® (Indoor/outdoor/greenhouse)Orange Bud with its distinctive rich orange hairs and brutally powerful Skunk

‘high’ has been one of Dutch Passions legendary strains. It is a heavy-hitting,

high yielding and low maintenance Skunk that dates back to the 1980’s with

its own army of dedicated followers. We decided to make an automatic version

of Orange Bud and we named her SnowStorm #2. The hybridisation project

was not easy, Orange Bud remains one of our best selling strains with a superb

all-round reputation that we were not prepared to compromise. SnowStorm

#2 has been a rewarding and pleasing strain. It typically grows to around 60cm

in height with the general appearance of a compact Indica phenotype. The

smoke-test team were highly satisfied with both the sweet flavour and power-

ful effect, this is an automatic Skunk that does justice to its proud heritage.

This strain comes with our recommendation, SnowStorm #2 will have special

appeal to those looking for a classy automatic version of the classic 1980’s.

Polarlight #2® (Indoor/outdoor/greenhouse)The new and highly improved version of PolarLight is the result of a hybrid

between an autoflowering Ruderalis/Indica and Dutch Haze. The specific Haze

characteristics are obviously present (very prominent) in this variety. PolarLight #2

is very easy to grow and after approximately 2,5 weeks of vegetative growth

PolarLight #2 automatically starts to flower for a period of 8 to 9 weeks.

Outdoors the plants grow to a height of 30-85 cm. Indoors up to 100 cm using

a Hydroponic System. PolarLight #2 is resistant against mould, spidermite and

other diseases. For a Haze variety PolarLight #2 generates a respectable harvest/

yield between 30 and 50 grams per plant. PolarLight #2 is very pleasant to smoke

and has a sweet fruity citrus taste and spicy Haze aroma. The powerful clear and

long lasting ‘high’ is average in THC percentage but high in CDB percentage and

therefore very suitable for medicinal users. PolarLight #2 now brings the opportu-

nity to grow connoisseur quality Haze in a little more than 2 months time!

Freddy’s Best® (Indoor/greenhouse)Freddy is a legendary cannabis breeder who for over 20 years has given the

world strains such as Blueberry, Mazar, Passion #1, Orange Bud, Strawberry

Cough and many others. After a lifetime devoted to cannabis, Freddy is

retiring and as a tribute to his astonishing legacy his final strain is named in

his honour ‘Freddy’s Best’. Freddy is a real connoisseur, he sets the highest

standards for the high, appearance, taste and yield of his creations but in

his final project he pushed these expectations to new levels of achieve-

ment. Delving into the 30 year old Dutch Passion genebank, Freddy created

a 3-way cross between Chocolope, Dutch Haze and a special, unnamed

Sativa. Freddy’s Best is a mostly Sativa variety that is easy to grow with a

generous crop of large round buds which are dense and especially full of

resin. Freddy’s connoisseur taste targets were met with a unique aroma

and delicious flavours with hints of cocoa as well as earthy scents, with a

sweet and spicy taste. Freddy’s best has a fantastically intense, clear and

long lasting high. This is a true connoisseurs delight that will also appeal

to commercial growers due to the heavy yields. Freddy’s best can be grown

indoors or in a greenhouse and is a fitting tribute to a remarkable man. We

thank Freddy for his dedication to cannabis and Dutch Passion. We wish

him an inspired future as he follows his second dream, Shamanism. Freddy,

we salute you.

Jorge Cervantes and Dutch Passion

We are pleased to work together with Jorge Cervantes in our mutual pro-

ject: “Jorge’s Diamonds”. The many growbooks, DVD’s and articles Jorge

Cervantes published in the past 25 years in 9 languages, have helped grow-

ers worldwide to cultivate some of the best marijuana in the world. Now

growers can grow Jorge’s Diamonds #1 and take full advantage of the fruits

of Jorge’s collaboration with his old friends at Dutch Passion Seeds. The

genetics of the strain were selected by Jorge from the 25 year old “Research

Gene Pool” of Dutch Passion.

Jorge’s Diamonds #1® (Indoor/greenhouse)Jorge’s Diamond is a unique resin-packed Indica-dominant strain that is potent,

sweet, flavorful and incredibly smooth smoking. The rare Indica-dominant

genes are mixed with just the right amount of Sativa to give the smoke a very

strong soaring long-lasting high. The exceptional taste and aroma are fruity

and sweet. The insatiable taste is sweet and similar to wild honey smothered in

raspberries. The strain is almost mantenance free, also spider mites and other

pests know to leave Jorge’s Diamonds #1 alone. Medical note: By Thin Layer

Chromatography the THC percentage was calculated at 16 to 18%, while the

Night Queen® (Indoor/greenhouse)After an absence of 10 years Dutch Passion are pleased to announce the

return of Night Queen . Night Queen was an original 1980’s Dutch Passion

classic, around even before Dutch Passion became a registered seed com-

pany. Our 1987 catalogue describes Night Queen as a broadleaved Afghani

Indica which was popular with hardcore stoners for the intense body stone.

We upgraded Night Queen in 1997 but sales dropped as growers opted

for the newer strains and hybrids which were being introduced at the time.

Reluctantly Night Queen was withdrawn from our collection. We have had

many requests to bring Night Queen back and so we did. Our goal was to

re-create an Indica which would meet the world class standards achieved

by our multiple award winning Mazar. The outcome was a crystal covered,

fast early flowering and typically indica variety which is easy to grow and

resistant to pests and fungus. The new Night Queen is forgiving and very

easy to take cuttings from, a perfect mother plant. She is short and will suit

indoor growers looking at SOG/SCROG techniques. The name is an accu-

rate one since most of the plants are a very dark green, almost black. The

females are quite special, dark, beautiful and with heavy harvests of frosty,

hard and dense bud growth – these are real Queens. High THC and CBD

levels will appeal to medical growers, as will the very generous yields of

over 500grams/m² under good conditions. Night Queen is one of those rare

genuine hash-plant smokes, a rich Afghani Indica heritage producing highly

potent resin-frosted bud. Night Queen is a heavy yielder with all the earthy

aromas you hope for in a top quality marijuana strain with the addition of

some spicy flavours that the old-timers and connoisseurs will savour. The

top class body stone remains a key feature of Night Queen, this is a second

chance to get the best ever version of a 1980’s classic which is on the same

high-end quality level as Mazar.

ortega Indica® (Indoor/greenhouse) We consider Ortega Indica a medicinal cannabis variety. Ortega Indica is a hybrid

of Northern Lights #1 and another strong Indica, both dating back to the late

seventies. Extremely penetrating odour/aroma: earthy, spicy and tobacco. Our

seven-person test team reported that Ortega Indica is a good variety to smoke

before going to sleep, a feature present in all Indica strains, but more extreme

in Ortega Indica. It works as an effective sleeping pill and tranquilizer. Ortega

Indica is special in that it’s “stone/high” does not have a cloudy “morning after

effect”. In other words, the morning after smoking Ortega Indica, almost no

cannabis effects are experienced anymore. Smoke Ortega Indica and wake up

with a clear mind. This is seldom the experience after taking sleeping pills or

tranquilizers. Ortega Indica plants stay small (dwarf-like) and compact and are

quite homogenous. The stoned/high is medium strong. Best results indoor and

also greenhouses in temperate climates. Compact buds, medium yielder.

Mazar® (Indoor/greenhouse)This is an upgraded selection of our valued former Afghan/Skunk. We

improved the variety in 1997. The taste is softer than before and we man-

aged to improve on yield. The Afghani (Mazar-i-Shariff) part is a very short

Christmas tree-like plant, 100% Indica and very resinous. The F1-cross with

Skunk#1 gives the variety a bigger yield and better taste. Very good “up”

high. As both parents are very consistent, the offspring is very consistent

too. Mazar: 1st prize Best Indica, Tipo Forte, Bologna 2008, 2nd prize HTCC

Ultra skunk® (Indoor/greenhouse)Ultra Skunk is the product of our 1999 Skunk project, breeding, and then

cross breeding the best Skunk strains from proven Dutch and Swiss genetics.

Our leading Skunk specialist selected a variety that combined the thickest

buds whilst retaining the best skunk qualities and potency. The genetics

have a hint of a leading Indica strain, this gives some leaves in the buds but

also adds strength and consistently heavy yields to this top Skunk variety.

The genetics are 40% Indica / 60% Sativa, the result is one of the best

Skunk strains ever created and is extremely consistent. It grows to a height

of 60-80cm indoors with a flowering time is 8-9 weeks with good mould

and spider mite resistance. Ultra Skunk is stocky and oily, bursting with crys-

tals and heavy buds. The taste is sweet and fruity skunk with a hint of cedar.

The high is classic Skunk – long lasting, stoned and ‘up’ high. Very high!

Skunk#1 (75% Sativa, 25% Indica) was originally a cross between 25%

Afghani, 25% Mexican Acapulco Gold and 50% Columbian Gold. Inbred

since 1978, now a stabilized homogeneous strain. Blooms with long, thick

buds, varying in colour from light green to golden. Very high flower to

leaf ratio. Mold susceptible the last 6 weeks of flowering. Soft and sweet

aroma and a very strong “up” high. Excellent variety for indoor growing or

greenhouse with darkening system. Very high yields. Easy to manicure. This

variety serves as a standard against which others can be measured.

skunk #11® (Indoor/greenhouse)Skunk #11 is a true cannabis legend, our only strain to have sold over a mil-

lion seeds. Many of our customers have been buying Skunk #11 for years and

are so satisfied with the yields and the exquisite skunk ‘high’ that they don’t

even want to try other varieties! This highly stable premium skunk strain is the

result of years of breeding by our top skunk geneticist and is a foolproof variety

with excellent growth, yield and potency. Exceptionally resistant to mould and

disease, Skunk #11 delivers a famously enjoyable anti-anxiety high that relaxes

the body and soothes the soul. The stone is satisfying, high, chilled and erotic.

Skunk #11 grows vigorously in any grow medium, indoors, in a greenhouse or

outside. It is a strong plant with generous yields of resin covered bud and has

a traditional spicy old-school shiva aroma with a rich, cheesy indica taste. Our

Skunk expert recommends harvesting at 7 weeks, the buds may still be green

euforia® (Indoor/greenhouse)Euphoria is a high yielding Skunk selection developed in 1996. She is a sta-

ble, strong strain that reliably produces bumper harvests of 400-600grams/

m² and clones easily making her an excellent mother plant. Euphoria will

grow well outdoors in warm climates and is well suited to greenhous-

es. Outdoor/greenhouse harvesting is typically towards end October/start

November. Indoors Euphoria takes 7-8 weeks. Plants reach 1-1.5m tall and

give a fresh smelling ganja which tastes rich and skunky though not too

sweet. A favourite with Dutch Passion staff, Euphoria produces a euphoric

high which is good for both pain relief and stress relief. THC levels are a high

18% making this a heavy yielding reliable producer of great quality stash.

A good remedy for relieving the stress of modern society. This is a special

Dutch Haze® (Indoor/greenhouse)Dutch Passion customers have always craved a 100% Haze strain together

with reduced flowering times and respectable yields. Over many years we

have bred literally hundreds of Haze plants from both USA and Dutch genetics

looking for this unique Haze. Then, in 2009, we had a major breakthrough!

The result is Dutch Haze, the flowering time is an incredible 9-11 weeks for

a classy ‘up-high’ and true Haze experience. All Haze fans should try our

Dutch Haze, the yields are generous and it grows with a rich abundance of

sparkling THC covered flowers that have the true Haze aroma. Plants grow

tall, 80 - 120 cm. Dutch Haze is a rare find, the result of extensive breeding.

The strain has good mould and spider mite resistance, it is 90% Sativa/10%

Indica. However the Indica parentage affects only the flowering and yield

characteristics. The smoke, as you will find out, is 100% pure Haze. Dutch

Haze – prepare to be amazed.

Dutch Cheese® (Indoor/greenhouse)For the creation of Dutch Cheese ( 60% Sativa, 40% Indica) our breeders

took the best cheese genetics and crossed them with various other strains.

We were looking for the ‘perfect match’, where two stable strains can be

crossed to give a new variety that improves on both of the parents. The

ideal genetics to improve Cheese eventually came from our “Euforia” -

a potent Skunk selection and a personal favorite of some of the Dutch

Passion team. The crossbreeding with Euforia has not compromised the

cheesy qualities at all. But it has given improved potency and significant

yield improvements, growing to a height of 60-80cm with lots of sticky

side buds that show some internodal spacing that will help prevent bud rot/

mould – an important feature for a heavy-yielding variety. This strain is for

indoor/greenhouse.

Mekong High® (Indoor/greenhouse)This acclaimed new addition to the Dutch Passion family is a particularly potent

Indoor strain with an incredible soaring sativa high, using pure genetics directly

from the Laos/Vietnam jungle area. The main features of this special strain are

the incredible ‘happy and smiley’ sativa stone and the high yields associated

with the huge growth potential. Our smoke test team gave this a top-class

rating, an old school ‘retro’ high with a great herbal taste. It has a refreshing

aroma and a notable long lasting clean ‘up’ high that clears the mind and

completely relaxes the body. The high is good for socialising as well as creativ-

ity. The plant can have brown or purple colourations during late flowering and

is resistant to mould/bud rot. This is an ideal strain for the Indoor grower that

is looking for pure, unadulterated jungle genetics that will remind you of the

great Sativa smokes of the 70’s.

the Ultimate® (Indoor/greenhouse)Through careful breeding we have created one of our most important

strains, we call it “The Ultimate” as it combines some of the heaviest yields

we have ever seen with genuine connoisseur quality. It grows to a height

of 60-75cm, ideal for the indoor grow room. Flowering time is 8-10 weeks,

with explosive bud growth in the last 2 weeks. The Ultimate (50% Indica,

50% Sativa) will take plenty of nutrients during the growth cycle and is

resistant to moulds and bud rot making it a good greenhouse choice too.

Our growers have never seen a plant yield as heavily with this level of qual-

ity. This is a recession busting strain of epic proportions and is guaranteed

not to disappoint. This strain is already setting new standards amongst the

Dutch commercial growers and is set to become a Dutch Passion legend.

Dark Delight® (Indoor/greenhouse)These days many strains are bred with yield as an understandably important

consideration, but not Dark Delight. Dark Delight is a strain of pure indul-

gence for the connoisseur. This is an Indica dominant feminised strain that

has been bred with the sole goal of producing the finest sensimilla possible.

The strain took an exotic multi-blend of North American, Afghanistan and

European genetics to give this 75% Indica/25% Sativa strain which produc-

es an exquisite and fantastic ganja. The plants grow up to 1.5m and produce

dense bud in medium quantities with very few leaves making her easy to

trim. The leaves take on a dark appearance which is how she got the name.

Some leaves can be nearly black towards the end of the 8-10 week flower-

ing period. Outdoors or in greenhouses she is ready around the middle of

October. Dark Delight is ideally suited to indoor and greenhouse production

though it will perform well outdoors at southerly latitudes. Dark Delight

burns with a rich thick aroma which will remind you of the best Mujahideen

Afghani hash from the 1980’s. You experience a smooth, mellow and satis-

fying stone with long lasting effects. The smoke is a delightful one, and that

is where the second part of the name comes from. We were very impressed

with Dark Delight, top quality marijuana and a proud new addition to the

Dutch Passion collection. A great smoke for those long dark nights.

Brainstorm® (Indoor/greenhouse)The genetics of Brainstorm were introduced in our seedcollection in 1996.

The strain has been updated for the second time in 2006 by selecting a

premium clone from the original seed stock. Through this premium clone

the “Brainstorm” feminized seedline is produced. Brainstorm is a sturdy

plant with the power and yield of the famous Northern Lights #5, hybridized

with potent 100% Haze genetics. Brainstorm has a solid, strong long lasting

“high”, combined with a well balanced, soft smoking experience. Good for

bumper harvests. A perfect variety to select clones from.

a greenhouse the plants have an enormous yield. Indoors flowering starts

already one week after turning back the lightcycle to 12 hours. Outdoor,

White Widow (Indoor/greenhouse)White Widow is a classic, a winner of countless awards with a reputation

as one of the most powerful strains ever created. Our geneticists have

worked intensively on this potent and vigorous strain to optimise and

then stabilise the best features. The result is a legendary and highly desir-

able variety that is covered with crystals and delivers generous levels of

excellent quality bud. The Dutch Passion White Widow strain is extremely

consistent and easy to grow with any grow method. The quality and

consistency is particularly pronounced in our feminised version which has

become a best-seller and a standard that other seed companies strive to

match. Dutch Passions White Widow was perfected many years before

most of todays seed companies were even established. That’s why many

true White Widow aficionados don’t mind paying that little bit extra to

get genuine 1980’s F1 White Widow genetics, with the authentic smell,

taste and unmistakeably extreme high. Today many commercial seed

companies offer White Widow seeds but many of these are distant imita-

tions of the original. Our original White Widow displays all the genuine

hallmarks. The powerful and pungent aroma, the incredible vigour that

came from crossing the Brazilian and Indian parentage and the crazy

powerful high that is feared and adored. We declare it to be one of the

very few authentic versions on the market and know you can never be

disappointed by it. Our customers love Dutch Passions original White

Widow reporting great results indoor, outdoors (in warm climates) and

in greenhouses.

Masterkush (Indoor/greenhouse)We bravely extracted this sturdy plant back from the Hindu Kush region of

Afghanistan, it is a compact and forgiving variety that grows well in any

medium such as soil, hydro, coco etc. Master Kush produces an extremely

potent smoke that is smooth and sweet with earthy/citrus flavours, the high

is strong and powerful. Less odour than normal is produced during flower-

ing (important for some growers). Buds are large, heavy and pale green with

long hairs that range from white to orange/brown. Master Kush is resistant

to spidermite but can be susceptible to mould in humid conditions due to the

sheer size and density of the bud growth. Master Kush thrives under most

growing conditions; it clones easily and is a reliably generous producer of

very high quality pot. A favourite of ours, we highly recommend it to you.

Californian orange (Indoor/greenhouse)Californian Orange is a 50% Indica / 50% old-school Sativa classic hybrid

from the 70’s and is only available from Dutch Passion. This variety is loved

for the clear ‘up’ high, very social and very special. Smoke too much and

the stone becomes heavier though the quality is not diminished. Californian

Orange gives reasonable yields around 400gram/m² and the plants reach

1.2-2m tall. Some of the plants have a strong citrus aroma and all of them

have notable resin production even on the leaves. This is a potent, high

quality strain which retains a strong appeal today despite all the exciting

new strains that are appearing. Californian Orange dates back to the hippy

era but the reliable production of top quality weed means this is still a

sought-after variety today.

the Blue Family

The Blue Family (Blueberry and Skywalker), has been succesfully introduced

to the market by Dutch Passion in recent years. A successful and old tra-

ditional group of varieties, for Europe however a new genetic line. These

varieties gave a fresh breeze to the somewhat “dusty” Dutch Gene Pool,

consisting mainly of crosses between Skunk, Northern Lights and Haze. The

genetics of “The Blue Family” are basically made up from an Oaxacan (leg-

endary Mexican Sativa), a Thai and an Indica strain. Through years of selec-

tion the specific genetic profile of the different varieties were sharpened

and at the same time stabilized. All members of the Blue Family show blue,

and red to lila shades on their calyxes, leaves and stems, depending on the

temperature at flowering time. The colder, the more colour. So, grown out-

doors (Southern Europe) this phenomenon is a lot clearer than when grown

indoors. The leaves of the Blue Family strains might show white spots and

stripes. This does not slow down growth. It is sort specific of these strains.

In the first three weeks of flowering the Blue Family strains grow slower

compaired to other strains. After the third week of flowering they will catch

up and give a beautiful harvest.

that dates to the late 1970’s. A large producer under optimum conditions.

A dense and stout plant with red, purple and finally blue hues, that usually

cure to a lavender blue. The finished product has a very fruity aroma and

taste of blueberry. It produces a notable and pleasantly euphoric high of the

highest quality and is very long lasting. Medium to large calyxes. “Blueberry”

have ever seen. Orange Bud was selected from outstanding Skunk genetics

in the early 80’s, it is a highly potent and very stable strain that grows well

indoors or outdoors with any type of grow medium. Even new growers will find

Orange Bud easy and pleasurable to grow, producing generous levels of dense,

hard bud covered with crystals and beautiful orange hairs. As well as being a

cup winning variety in the 80’s and 90’s, Orange Bud remains a classic skunk

that should be savoured by any Skunk connoisseur. Orange bud is particularly

notable for its yields in ‘sea of green’ grows. The highly potent smoke is uplift-

ing and cerebral, good for stoners who have active lifestyles. The unique taste is

sweet with clear citrus tones of nectarine and ripe orange. This remains a top-5

best seller for all the right reasons – stable, potent, easy to grow and with great

yields, Skunk fans delay no longer, buy some today! THC: 16.5%.

Colour MixesFor those who want to try out different Dutch Passion Cannabis Varieties at

once, we have put together five different Colour Mixes. All Mixes contain

six seeds, two seeds of three different varieties. The varieties in the bag

can be distinguished by the fact that we gave the varieties different colors.

The fifteen varieties selected for the five mixes are our top 15 bestsellers.

We composed two Outdoor Colour Mixes and three Indoor Colour Mixes:

The two Outdoor Colour Mixes are adapted to outdoor circumstances at

northern and southern latitudes. The three Indoor Colour Mixes are suited

for growing indoor and for growing outdoor at southern latitudes. In indoor

circumstances different seed varieties may need different treatment. We

have chosen variety combinations per Indoor Mix according to their abil-

ity to grow together in the same grow room (grow conditions) and at the

same time assure diversity in the Indoor Colour Mixes. The pigments used

to colour the seeds have been tested for many years. No side effects on

germination or plant growth have been found. Added to the pigments is a

fungicide that prevents stem rot of the seedlings.
