ROALD AMUNDSEN (1872-1928)

Many men have attempted these feats and failed. The reasons for Amundsen’s success were his thorough planning, his outstanding navigational skills, his urge to explore the unexplored, his accuracy, his unique leadership skills and above all his refusal to accept the status quo.

PEAK PRINCESS AND THE MOUNTAIN MAN

This collection of knickerbockers and anoraks is done in a special waxed cotton from British Millerain. The dry wax combines water and wind resistance with more advanced breathability than that of fabrics with a membrane.

The weathered colours evoke the pioneering climbers of the 70s, further enhanced by the comfortable worn look the wax attains after just a few hikes or climbs. These garments simply come begging for rough use.
