The pre-aligned edges of the SST line up precisely with each blade, allowing for a clean, uninterrupted cut. The tough-as-nails tip paves the way through bone and tissue, creating pathways for the blades to pass through. The result is less stress on the blades and deeper penetration. Our tips are pressed onto the ferrule with a tremendous amount of pressure. They are not held on by tiny screws or vulnerable pins. Our tips will never come off or be knocked out of alignment, which allows for a more consistent flying broadhead. It’s one Smart Tip.

We use a few different variations of ferrules: Solid steel, solid aluminum, long and short (none of which are composed of a powdered process like many of our competitors). The ferrules are the backbone of our broadhead designs, keeping everything aligned perfectly and minimizing flight issues. They are strong, perfectly straight and the slotted design makes changing blades simple.

Wasp Archery pioneered the introduction of the broadhead replacement blade in 1971, and have worked to improve it ever since. We allow for flexibility in our broadhead blades. They are hardened to a point where we can get a razor-sharp edge and have durability, but they are also flexible enough to bend and not break. Our blades are thick and sharp, and follow the path created by the tip for devastating cutting power and durability.

With the Drone at the end of an arrow, bowhunters no longer have to compromise. The solid-steel ferrule of the Drone allows for a reduced surface area delivering unsurpassed results in accuracy, strength and penetration. The brawny ferrule, which when combined with Wasp’s exclusive Stainless Smart Tip (SST) and legendary blades, creates The Ultimate Broadhead™. The pressed-on tip, always aligned with the blades, roars through bone and cartilage and creates a straight-cutting path for the blades to follow, leaving devastation in the wake of its 1-1/8” cutting diameter.

Like the name implies, once a fish is in the grasps of a Talon fish point, it doesn’t let go until the fish is landed. The Talon features three .062” stainless-steel barbs which fold back in flight for better accuracy and penetration through water and fish. Once the point passes through the fish and pressure is applied, the barbs open for a reliable hold under tremendous amounts of pressure. With a simple 30-degree turn of the ferrule, the quick-release mechanism disengages the lock and the barbs fold forward for a clean and quick release of the fish. The Talon is constructed of 100% stainless-steel, and offers the penetration, reliability and strength Wasp Archery has built its reputation on.

CROSSBOW

The Sledgehammer features a solid steel ferrule tipped with Wasp’s bone-crushing stainless-steel trocar tip. The 150-grain head has a 1-1/6” cutting diameter and cuts through anything that gets in the way.

The Jak-X Crossbow is a mechanical broadhead designed to meet the demands of crossbow hunters. The Stainless Smart Tip (SST) is pre-aligned with three stainless-steel blades ensuring maximum penetration by creating a straight cutting path through anything that gets in its way. The O-ring system retains the blades during flight and guarantees proper deployment on impact as the blades fold back to a huge cutting diameter of 1-3/4 inches.
