State of Professionalism
Professions are opportunities for personal enrichment
General decline in Character and Ethical conduct
Little real emphasis on Truth, Honesty or Integrity
Amplified Self Interest Absence of Community Values
Limited concept of Professionalism Confined to the realm of technical
competence
SUSTAINABLE PROFESSIONALISM
Every system requires professional integrity if it is to function effectively
Professionals must not be subject to environmental corruption by external forces
Long term professional success is linked to the sustained maintenance of high moral and ethical standards

circumstances to wither the power of principles in your life

dangers• Heart: your will, soul; seat of affection/desire

Establishing Vision
Definition: Divine insight. Often through a dream, vision, revelation given directly to an individual. There is usually an action to follow and sense of how to proceed to fulfil the insight.
“Vision … is a clear mental image of a preferable future.
Why do we need a Vision
Unless we have a clear vision, there will be no sense of direction or purpose.
It moves us beyond ‘what we have experienced thus far’.
A clarified vision helps to establish synchronization among team, and creates an amplified resonances for execution.
Having a Clear Vision
Purpose: Why are we here? Where is this journey suppose to take us?
Priorities: Clarity of vision helps us to identify our priorities. How to spend our time, where to channel our
resources? Plans: Plans and programmes should be the means
through which the vision is achieved -Should be regularly reviewed.
Roles: When I see how what I do fits into the overall plan, it enhances my sense of purpose. Vision gives dignity and significance to even the most menial task.
Establishing Vision
Helps to create the power of one language and unleashes the power of the corporate mind
Establishes partnership, it is an alignment of minds, and beliefs when people collaborate
Produces powerful collective action; harnessing joint leadership will
Propels the team to find creative ways to do things in a way that has not been done before
Activates people to collaborate together thus changes the structure of what reality looks like
What’s Right with the World
Vision Practicum
Story of a boys dream Child Hood- Lets Draw Dream for your family How does it get fulfilled What do you have to become for it to come to
fruition Circumstances and chaos will prepare us for
the journey
Valuing Collaboration
Collaboration must be the icon of your building Process
Real collaboration cannot be fulfilled through disconnected and fragmented relationship
There is synergy released through relationship which becomes the pattern in building culture
Collaboration and the will to act together can produce swift and fast results
Collaboration
a number of different and individual parts that are to function together as one in a synergistic building.
The sharing of life and exchange of resources results in manifest growth and increase in all.
Our operational platforms, systems, DNA, ways must be standardized and consistent.
The process of collaboration provides a framework that allows unique parts to come into symbiotic relationships that create “win win’ situations.
Collaboration
Is working together to bring a positive and ethical impact on the community and the surrounding culture.
