According to the Indian Readership Survey (IRS) 2010 The Hindu is the third most widely read English newspaper in India (after Times of India and Hindustan Times) with a readership of 21.59 lakhs. It has its largest base of circulation in South India, especially Tamil Nadu. The Hindu is published from 14 locations—Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hubli, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Madurai, Mangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Tiruchirapalli, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.

The Hindu publishing press is located at one end of Delhi in Wazirpur Industrial estate.

Mr.Kapil, Marketing Manager of the branch and the other department members took a keen interest in the students by showing their various departments and explaining them the working of the various processes of the press.

It was a nice experience for the students as a round of question and answer showedthat they are very curious to know things .The press officials too appreciated the students for their interest and discipline.
