Certified Accountant

A certified accountant is an entry level accounting qualification that will increase your competence and skills in practical accounting areas. This will help you gain employment, earn more than an unqualified accounts person and improve your career prospects. Certified Accounts earn an average of $40,000 per annum.

Accounting Technician

An Accounting Technician (AT) works in all areas of finance and business, carrying out a range of functions including assisting with the preparation of accounts, managing staff payroll, receiving and settling invoices and bookkeeping. An AT gives employers the security of knowing their staff member meets recognised standards. Accounting Technicians earn over $60,000 per annum.

Introduction to Accounting

Start your new career with our easy introductory accounting course. You’ll gain a general understanding of accounting with a focus on core concepts and basic skills that will teach you the fundamentals of accounting. You will learn to interpret financial statements, undertake financial analysis, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting techniques.

Certificate in Accounting

Our qualification will help you stand out in the job market with the practical skills to work in an accounts environment. Business owners will be able to put their skills to use and save on accounting fees.

Certificate in Accounts Payable and Receivable

Become certified in accounts payable and receivable with our online course. You’ll cover the basics including working with spread sheets, account reconciliations and processing invoices. This course will help you improve your career prospects and take on a relevant role in the accounts field.

Diploma in Accounting

This advanced qualification builds on the practical accounting skills and knowledge gained through the Certificate in Accounting. It will further enhance your accounting skills, enabling you to pursue a career in accounting, finance or business and help you on your pathway to become a qualified Accounting Technician and member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). AAT is the world’s leading professional body for accounting technicians, with over 140,000 members. Being a qualified Accounting Technician and member of AAT gives employers the confidence you meet internationally recognised standards.

Accounting Pathway Program

Fast track your accounting career with The Career Academy. Certificate in Taxation

This course is specifically designed for accountants and will give you the skills to prepare income tax returns for both individuals and companies. It provides you with the essential tools for income tax, GST and FBT and will help your clients minimise their tax liabilities.

Certificate in Xero Accounting

Gain an intermediate level of knowledge and learn how to use Xero to manage your own business accounts or your client’s accounts. This course will set you up with a strong understanding and practical knowledge of Xero to advance your business or career. You will gain a Certificate in Xero, another frequent request of employers. Gain 15 CPD hours on completion!

Certificate in MYOB AccountRight

This intermediate level accredited online certificate covers a broad range of AccountRight features. Learn to manage business accounts as you work through the course in your own time, following our step-by-step instructions and completing the practical exercises.
