● Notifications are supported by default once an Android Wear watch is connected to Wifi or paired to Phone

● It’s based on Android and Linux

● Supports a variety range of sensors and all apps can access their APIs

● Fully integrated to Google Now, it’s accuracy it’s quite impressive

● It currently doesn’t native apps, but is adding native apps support on WatchOS2 coming available early 2016

● It requires developers to add a module for WatchOS in order to even receive notifications

● It’s based on iOS and Unix

● Supports a variety range of sensors. Third party apps can’t access available sensors. Although WatchOS2 is opening APIs for all its sensors

● Android Wear provides much more diversity of options when it comes to talk about watches

● Apple Watch has converted their Apple customers better than Google with Android Wear when it comes to talk about sold units. Apple Watch holds 58% of the market against Android Wear’s 17.4%.

● Android Wear supports iOS 8.2+ as well as Android devices running 4.3+ which is already giving Apple users more options when it comes about choosing a watch

● Android Wear provides cheaper devices than Apple Watch

● We will see both platforms growing in the years to come and other minor competitors will decrease their conversion.
