Marmalade dreams: The Brit Marmalade Collection is bottled in flacons inspired by vintage marmalade jars

The Estée Lauder Companies has revealed the new limited-edition Jo Malone London Brit Collection. The line of nostalgic scents is now available in selected downtown duty free and airport stores in Asia Pacific travel retail.

The Jo Malone London Brit Marmalade Collection was inspired by nostalgic British summers and its packaging mimics vintage jars of homemade jams and marmalade. The line was made with natural fruit extracts, developed by one of the UK’s leading soft fruit processors in Blairgowrie, Scotland.

To produce the extract, fruits and berries that are normally used in the food industry are steam distilled into draughts and then added directly to the fragrances. The extracts help capture the true vibrancy of ingredients such as rhubarb and blackberry.

The line comprises the Tangy Rhubarb, Rose Blush, Orange Peel and Elderflower Cordial scents. All four fragrances can be perfectly paired with Jo Malone London’s signature fruity scent, Blackberry & Bay.

Blackberry & Bay evokes childhood memories of berry picking and combines blackberry heart notes with fresh bay and brambly wood notes.

The collection, comprising the Tangy Rhubarb, Rose Blush, Orange Peel, Elderflower Cordial and Blackberry & Bay scents, is now available in Asia Pacific travel retail 

Tangy Rhubarb is an eccentric scent, complemented with zesty orange and elegant cedarwood base notes. Rose Blush is infused with notes of vibrant basil, lychee and white musk, adding a contemporary twist to a classically floral scent.

Orange Peel takes inspiration from the very British tradition of Marmalade making. Warm woody notes and natural rhubarb add a refreshing take to this classic sweet and fruity fragrance.

Finally, Elderflower Cordial offers a soft powdery floral scent enhanced with notes of hawthorn and summer-green gooseberries.
